ABOUT THE ROLE
We seek a Technical Lead to spearhead the design, development, and execution of WSU’s urban sanitation carbon mitigation initiative in Kenya. This position will oversee carbon data collection and management, the creation of MRV systems, stakeholder engagement, and the formalization and integration of sanitation service providers to facilitate the registration, monitoring, verification, and issuance of carbon credits from faucal sludge management and methane mitigation interventions in Nairobi, Kisumu, Natasha, and Nakuru.
Seeking a highly motivated professional to fulfill a critical role, the ideal candidate must meet the following mandatory qualifications: a minimum of five years of progressive experience in a similar position, strong proficiency in data analysis and reporting, and exceptional communication skills to collaborate across teams. Additionally, the position requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration, along with proficiency in industry-standard software tools. The candidate should demonstrate a proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks. Experience with project management methodologies and leadership in driving process improvements is highly preferred.
