Ensure that communication plans are strategically aligned with the overarching advocacy agenda as well as the public health priorities established in both individual countries and the broader regional context.

Monitor global political developments that influence food policy and public health initiatives in various countries.

Devising and implementing strategic campaigns constitutes a primary responsibility, encompassing meticulous planning, targeted outreach, and precise execution to drive organizational objectives. This entails identifying key audience segments, crafting compelling messaging tailored to diverse platforms, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive execution. Additionally, performance metrics and analytics are leveraged to assess campaign effectiveness, enabling data-driven adjustments for continuous optimization. Strong collaboration with stakeholders, creative teams, and external partners is essential to align messaging with brand identity while maintaining consistency across all touchpoints.

Offer strategic direction regarding the planning, implementation, and assessment of mass media, digital media, and public relations initiatives.

Develop and implement cohesive, industry-accounted communication strategies that span up to three African nations.

Oversee the administration and evaluation of all food policy program sub-grants across Africa.

Partner with the leadership team, the senior grants’ manager, and communication managers at the country level to advance grant initiatives.
