Finance team members are tasked with receiving, recording, reconciling, and strengthening internal controls to prudently safeguard the Church’s sacred funds—donated in accordance with divine principles—to advance its religious mission under the guidance of senior ecclesiastical leadership. This entry-level role involves applying professional accounting standards to specialized records and reports while supporting the ongoing maintenance of a precise and comprehensive general ledger and generating routine financial statements.

The position entails overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to established protocols. Key tasks include managing workflow processes, coordinating team activities, and maintaining accurate documentation. Additionally, the role requires conducting performance evaluations, addressing operational challenges, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with industry-specific software and regulatory compliance is also required to support overall departmental goals.

Compiling journal entries and performing various adjusting entries are key responsibilities of this role.

Initiating the maintenance of general ledger files, performing account reconciliations, conducting reviews, and clearing outstanding ledger items are key responsibilities of this role.
