Position Summary
We are in search of a meticulous and proactive Field Sales Representative to spearhead product adoption and revenue expansion throughout Kenya. This position encompasses cultivating enduring client connections, advancing high-end offerings to medical facilities and practitioners, and fostering engagement with dental professionals to elevate sales within the dental supplies sector.
Assumes accountability for overseeing and executing core duties, which encompass managing daily operations, coordinating team efforts, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures, and maintaining high standards of performance and efficiency. Facilitates effective communication across departments to promote alignment with organizational goals while identifying opportunities for process improvement and innovation. Leads initiatives to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and mitigate potential risks, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous development. Ensures compliance with industry regulations and internal guidelines, safeguarding operational integrity and organizational reputation.
Drive sales of an extensive portfolio of dental equipment, instruments, and consumables, targeting dental clinics, hospitals, and healthcare facilities to expand market reach and meet client needs.
Proactively cultivate new business prospects by conducting field visits, leveraging referrals, and participating in industry events.
Cultivate enduring professional relationships with dental practitioners and pivotal decision-makers to foster trust and collaboration.
Deliver comprehensive product demonstrations and training programs to enable clients to grasp the full scope of usage, advantages, and maintenance requirements.
Track competitor actions, pricing strategies, and new developments within the dental supplies sector, providing detailed observations and insights.
Partner with logistics, technical, and marketing teams to guarantee on-time deliveries and outstanding client service.
Exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets consistently, demonstrating a strong commitment to performance excellence and measurable results.
Accurately document sales activities, customer interactions, and market insights to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, complemented by at least three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are required to collaborate effectively across teams. Familiarity with project management methodologies and a track record of delivering results within deadlines are highly desirable. The ideal applicant will demonstrate adaptability, a proactive approach to challenges, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
A degree or diploma in Dentistry, Medical Sciences, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is required.
A minimum of three years of demonstrated sales expertise within the dental or medical supplies sector is essential.
Proficiency in dental instruments and supplies is strongly preferred.
Proven expertise in delivering compelling presentations, engaging in strategic negotiations, and fostering strong interpersonal relationships is essential.
Required is a strong command of Microsoft Office applications, along with expertise in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Open to undertaking regular travel throughout the designated regional area as needed.
