The company is now seeking a qualified Pharmaceutical Technologist specializing in warehousing to integrate seamlessly into its dynamic team.

The Supply Chain Intern will collaborate with supply chain team members to assist with diverse operational functions, thereby enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain processes.

Oversee and execute a range of duties and responsibilities to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness. Manage and coordinate key tasks to meet organizational goals, including planning, organizing, and directing workflows. Monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and implement improvements as necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance productivity. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards. Maintain accurate records, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders. Identify areas for development and propose strategic solutions to address challenges. Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement within the team.

Support the procurement process by collaborating with suppliers to identify suitable sources, securing competitive quotes, and facilitating the issuance of purchase orders.

Support inventory management functions by overseeing stock levels, coordinating replenishment efforts, and ensuring the accuracy of inventory records.

Assist with the evaluation of demand forecasts and inventory levels to enhance inventory replenishment strategies and reduce the risk of stock-outs.

Partner with logistics providers to guarantee the punctual arrival of goods and materials, thereby aligning with production schedules and fulfilling customer expectations.

Provide support in the supervision and tracking of shipments, updating their status as needed and addressing any transportation-related challenges or delays encountered.

Provide support in ensuring the precision and integrity of records and documentation associated with procurement, inventory management, and logistics operations.

Collaborate on supply chain improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing processes and boosting operational efficiency.

Support data analysis and reporting initiatives to deliver valuable insights into supply chain efficiency, pinpointing opportunities for enhancement and optimization.

Conduct supplier assessments and performance evaluations to verify adherence to established quality benchmarks and service level agreements.

Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance to the supply chain team, encompassing data management, record organization, and document preparation.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field, complemented by a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development or systems engineering. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is required, along with familiarity with databases (e.g., SQL or NoSQL) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure). Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential. Excellent communication abilities are necessary to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

Holds a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology as the foundational educational qualification.
