Role Summary
The Batch Hair Technician plays a pivotal role in strengthening brand credibility and market influence by performing comprehensive batch testing on all hair products and monitoring evolving industry trends and consumer demands. In collaboration with the hair care team, the technician will engage in targeted salon education initiatives and impactful product demonstrations. Based in Kenya, this position is centered on upholding technical excellence through rigorous quality assurance protocols, as well as training professional stylists, salon partners, and internal sales teams. Serving as a critical liaison, the technician ensures hair products align with quality benchmarks and market expectations while adhering to manufacturing and brand specifications.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties critical to the role’s success, including analyzing operational workflows to identify inefficiencies and proposing data-driven enhancements that align with strategic objectives. Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders across departments to gather insights, align priorities, and ensure seamless integration of initiatives that support broader organizational goals. Maintain meticulous attention to detail in monitoring performance metrics, preparing accurate reports, and communicating findings to leadership to inform decision-making processes. Serve as a key liaison between teams, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with established policies and regulatory standards. Ensure the product adheres to established quality standards outlined in Hack’s standard operating procedures, while aligning with both market and consumer expectations.
Design and implement the regional training calendar by organizing workshops, seminars, and trade show demonstrations to enhance educational leadership initiatives.
Technical Sales Support: Collaborate closely with the sales team to enhance product sell-in performance and deliver comprehensive technical product knowledge training to sales representatives.
Conduct comprehensive market intelligence by tracking emerging hair care trends and analyzing competitor actions to identify opportunities for product improvements and potential line extensions.
Relationship Management: You will handle technical inquiries, address product complaints, and onboard new salon partners to strengthen business relationships.
Ensure uniform product application and reinforce brand visibility consistently throughout the professional salon environment.

A minimum qualification of a Diploma in Hairdressing and Beauty is required.
