This role demands that the WTS Technician deliver expert technical support while upholding stringent quality benchmarks across all Jib franchise locations. Additionally, the position involves overseeing quality audit initiatives and pinpointing opportunities for ongoing enhancement within the franchises’ quality control frameworks, protocols, and standards. A proactive, solution-oriented approach is essential to address the dynamic challenges and operational demands that emerge on a daily basis with efficiency and resilience.

Oversee and execute core responsibilities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards. Plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects or tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to achieve shared goals, fostering open communication and synergy. Monitor progress, track deliverables, and provide timely updates to stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in all activities. Troubleshoot challenges proactively and resolve issues promptly to minimize disruptions. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting as required. Support team development through mentoring, training, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

Address technical service requests from franchises with promptness and thoroughness.

Conduct installations, perform ongoing maintenance, and execute troubleshooting for water treatment systems, along with the facility up-fits that contain them.

Develop, implement, and oversee operational and quality control procedures while ensuring local operators receive the necessary training to meet established standards.

Through consistent franchise visits and rigorous quality audits, uphold Jib’s established quality standards and comply with all regulatory mandates.

Jibuti lab will receive support in sample collection, as well as conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

Maintain precise records of quality audit programs executed at franchise locations to ensure comprehensive documentation.

Conduct routine assessments and evaluations of quality standards across franchises while overseeing the enforcement of the Jib Quality Breach Policy.

Conduct comprehensive root cause analyses for any non-conformities, followed by the implementation of both preventive and corrective measures to ensure franchises consistently uphold the most stringent quality standards.

Maintain precise records of Jib quality control processes, procedures, and standards, and contribute innovative proposals for enhancements or improvements wherever feasible.

Achieve monthly targets by consistently measuring progress against mutually agreed-upon KPIs to ensure optimal performance.

Develop, devise, and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance program tailored for all franchises across Kenya. Ensure the meticulous planning and seamless execution of maintenance initiatives to uphold operational efficiency and reliability.

This role operates with significant independence and maintains a direct line of reporting to the Production & Quality Coordinator.

Responsibilities include providing guidance to the Franchisee in overseeing and coordinating the operator’s team effectively.

Strong technical competencies include expertise in system administration, virtualization technologies, and networking protocols, along with proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash. The ideal candidate must demonstrate at least five years of hands-on experience in server management, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of enterprise-level systems. Additionally, knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is strongly preferred, along with familiarity with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes. Strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Excellent communication skills are also required to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
