Manage the daily operations of the Recycling staff, ensuring efficient execution of tasks such as sorting mixed waste, plastic, glass, and pig food, as well as operating the baling equipment.
Responsible for overseeing and organizing attendance records while ensuring accurate staff planning and management.
To establish and enforce quality control protocols, ensuring sorted materials conform to both company-specific and regulatory requirements.
Commit to strict compliance with all safety protocols and standard operating procedures at all times.
Monitor and refine sorting operations to uphold peak efficiency while reducing potential downtime as much as possible.
Oversee the planning and deployment of forklifts to facilitate recycling activities efficiently.
Responsibilities include meticulously documenting sorted materials, equipment utilization, and staff productivity to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations to safeguard the well-being of all personnel and uphold a secure workplace environment.
Compile and deliver weekly reports that detail performance metrics and other key objective and key result (OKR) data.
Prepare and submit petty cash requests, then diligently track their status to ensure timely approval and payment processing.
Oversee the monitoring and maintenance of material inventory levels while collaborating closely with the logistics team to ensure prompt removal and transportation of stock.
Perform routine assessments and evaluations of machinery and systems to ensure operational integrity and compliance with established standards.
Compiles and submits periodic reports detailing plant performance, encompassing productivity, efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness (ONE) metrics.
Design and deploy process control systems to ensure operational efficiency and consistency.
Collaborate closely with the engineering team to design and install new equipment.
Data analysis and reporting involve leveraging data to inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
Conduct comprehensive market research to evaluate the potential applications and benefits of both current and newly acquired machinery.
Develop innovative strategies to repurpose and recycle underutilized material streams both internally within the organization and externally in the marketplace.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with three to five years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, and familiarity with software development methodologies like Agile or Scrum is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are required. A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline is required.
