Job Purpose

This position is designed to facilitate funding mobilization and execute strategic resource acquisition initiatives by engaging in activities that secure and sustain revenue streams. Key responsibilities include fostering relationships with current and prospective donors, uncovering new funding prospects, and crafting persuasive fundraising proposals that effectively convey the foundation’s objectives and requirements to potential contributors. The contributions made by this role are instrumental in cultivating a robust and diverse pipeline of supporters, thereby ensuring the foundation’s long-term viability.

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Demonstrate proficiency in Python programming language along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. At least three years of hands-on experience in software development, particularly with web applications, is essential. Familiarity with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is required. Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to work effectively in collaborative team environments are necessary.

A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Development Studies, or a closely related discipline is required for this position.

With a minimum of six years of hands-on experience in fundraising and resource mobilization, the ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of securing funding and optimizing financial sustainability strategies.

Proficiency in crafting compelling grant proposals, fostering meaningful relationships with donors, and successfully implementing fundraising campaigns is essential.
