Requirements

A master’s degree in actuarial science, statistics, finance, or a closely related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in financial product development and the integration of remote sensing and GIS technologies in agriculture or natural resource management.

Advanced analytical methodologies are employed to develop cutting-edge indemnity, indexed, and hybrid financial products, with a primary emphasis on pricing strategies.

Skilled in performing statistical analysis and constructing logical models with precision and insight.

Proficiency in computing indices and preparing reports for financial products that are indexed is required.

Proficiency in performing geospatial analysis utilizing remotely sensed datasets is required.

Proven expertise in utilizing multi-spectral satellite systems is required.

Demonstrates expertise in gathering field data specifically for geospatial analysis applications.

Proficiency in remote sensing and GIS software, along with databases and tools such as ArcGIS, ENVY, and eCognition is essential.

Extensive expertise in scripting languages, including R, Python, and Google Earth Engine, is required.

Fluent written and verbal English communication skills are required, enabling effective interaction with a wide range of audiences.
