Job Purpose

The Project Engineer will be responsible for the successful execution of Hotpoint Appliances development projects, from concept to launch. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, manufacturing, and quality to ensure projects meet all requirements, timelines, and budgets.

Job Responsibility and Accountability

Manage assigned Hotpoint appliance development projects from initiation to completion.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Track project progress, identify and address issues, and implement corrective actions.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.
Manage project budgets and ensure effective resource utilization.
Conduct project reviews and prepare project documentation.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies relevant to Hotpoint appliances.
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Superior.

Qualification and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical).
Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, preferably within the appliance industry.
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex projects on time and within budget.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes (a plus).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by Superior.

Key Skills:

Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD.
Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and project performance standards.
Experience in operational management of large scale installations would be preferable.
Experienced dealing with subcontracts or self-perform work.
Experience in leading successful project teams, including development of employees and maintaining relationships with external parties.
