Compile monthly financial statements and detailed audit-standard schedules and working paper files to ensure precise financial reporting, maintain audit preparedness, and uphold compliance with established accounting standards.
Receive, categorize, and log fixed assets into the general ledger and designated asset card to facilitate streamlined asset tracking and management.
Receive and validate deliveries of medical gases and fuel supplies in coordination with the maintenance department to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards.
Compile and verify fixed asset schedules, ensuring accurate reconciliation of balances to support the preparation of financial statements.
Prepare fixed asset disposal documentation and assess the value of assets slated for disposal, ensuring accurate updates to the fixed asset register post-disposal while maintaining alignment with accounting standards.
On a monthly basis, ensure the depreciation of the hospital’s fixed assets is calculated in compliance with established financial reporting standards.
Verify the physical presence and precise location of the hospital’s fixed assets to confirm their alignment with the recorded inventory.
Ensure that contracted personnel conduct stock inventory within the hospital’s pharmacy departments and generate monthly variance reports.
Perform periodic inventory audits and validate product expiry dates across pharmacies, stores, and other operational departments, compiling detailed reports for review. Evaluate and adjust inventory thresholds in each department based on projected consumption and optimal reorder points to mitigate the risk of excess stock accumulation.
Address internal and external audit inquiries promptly and in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
