Role Description
This full-time hybrid position for an Insurance Agent is primarily based in Mombasa, with the option for occasional remote work. The Insurance Agent will be tasked with prospecting and securing new clients, delivering customized insurance solutions, nurturing existing client relationships, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include evaluating clients’ insurance requirements, advising on policy selections, managing policy renewals, and addressing inquiries related to insurance policies and claims. Additionally, the role requires collaboration in crafting and implementing sales strategies to achieve individual and team performance objectives.
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience is required. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are necessary. Experience with software development methodologies and tools, including Agile and Git, is preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also required to convey technical concepts clearly.
Individuals must demonstrate a thorough understanding of insurance sales methodologies, insurance products, and brokerage operations to effectively navigate the complexities of the insurance industry.
Proficiency in financial principles and their practical application within insurance management is essential.

Proven ability to communicate clearly, negotiate effectively, and build strong interpersonal relationships is essential.

Proficiency within the insurance or financial services sector is regarded favorably.
A degree or diploma in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline is highly desirable.
A demonstrated history of consistently achieving or surpassing sales objectives is highly advantageous.
