Ensure culinary excellence is consistently delivered by meticulously supervising daily banquet operations, from preparation to final presentation, while maintaining precision, accuracy, and strict adherence to established plating standards.

To ensure excellence in menu development and elevate the dining experience, proactively research and adapt to emerging culinary trends, innovative banquet menu ideas, and cutting-edge preparation methods.

Monitor food expenditures for banquet services by performing yield analysis, reducing waste, regulating portion sizes, and collaborating with procurement teams to source premium ingredients while adhering to financial constraints.

Responsibilities include managing banquet production schedules, event timelines, and kitchen workflows to deliver flawless service during peak-volume events.

Oversee, guide, and develop the banquet kitchen team—comprising line cooks, prep cooks, and temporary event staff—while cultivating an environment rooted in professionalism, collaboration, and ongoing growth.

Conduct routine performance appraisals, deliver hands-on training sessions, and uphold staff adherence to food safety regulations, sanitation protocols, and HACCP standards.

Work in close partnership with the Executive Chef and Banquet Chef to design menus, create recipes, and establish standardized banquet production sheets and costing templates.

Oversee banquet kitchen operations throughout events, intervening as necessary to sustain service efficiency, resolve issues promptly, and guarantee timely food delivery to service teams.

Responsible for overseeing the inventory of banquet-specific ingredients, equipment, and serviceware to ensure preparedness for upcoming events and seamless stock turnover.

Ensure a secure, orderly, and productive kitchen setting by upholding rigorous cleaning schedules, maintaining equipment in optimal condition, and adhering to proper storage protocols.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics, is required. A minimum of five years of professional experience in software development, systems engineering, or a closely related discipline is essential. Proficiency in programming languages including but not limited to Java, Python, or C++ is mandatory. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a capacity for teamwork are crucial. Prior experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred. The ability to analyze complex systems and implement effective solutions is a key requirement.

A diploma or certificate in Culinary Arts, Food Production, or a comparable discipline is required.

Food Safety and Hygiene certification is required for this role.
