This role involves delivering technical support while ensuring adherence to quality standards across Jib franchises. Additionally, the WTS Technician will oversee quality audit initiatives and pinpoint opportunities for ongoing improvement within all quality control processes, procedures, and standards employed at the franchises. The position demands direct engagement, resilience, and flexibility to promptly address the daily challenges and operational needs that emerge.

Oversee a diverse range of operational tasks, ensuring adherence to established protocols and organizational standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective solutions. Maintain meticulous records, prepare detailed reports, and analyze performance metrics to inform strategic decision-making. Supervise staff, delegate responsibilities, and foster a productive work environment through clear communication and mentorship. Address operational challenges promptly, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Serve as a liaison between departments to facilitate seamless communication and alignment of objectives.

Address technical service inquiries from franchises with promptness and thoroughness, ensuring all requests are handled efficiently and effectively.

Execute the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of water treatment systems, as well as the facility up-fits that accommodate these systems.

Implement and sustain operational and quality control processes while guaranteeing local operators receive the necessary training to meet established standards.

Maintain compliance with Jib’s quality standards and applicable regulatory mandates by conducting routine franchise visits and performing thorough quality audits.

Jibuti lab will be assisted in sample collection activities, as well as in conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective measures.

Maintain precise and up-to-date records of all quality audit programs executed at franchise locations.

Perform routine assessments and in-depth evaluations of franchise quality standards, then facilitate the adherence to and enforcement of the Jib Quality Breach Policy.

Conduct comprehensive root cause investigations for any deviations and implement both preventive and corrective measures to guarantee that franchises consistently uphold the highest quality benchmarks.

Maintain precise records of Jib’s quality control processes, procedures, and standards, and submit recommendations for enhancements or improvements whenever feasible.

To achieve and exceed monthly targets, monitor progress using mutually agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to evaluate performance effectively.

Develop, design, and oversee the execution of a comprehensive preventive maintenance program tailored for all franchises operating in Kenya, ensuring adherence to established schedules and protocols. Additionally, supervise and verify the proper implementation of the maintenance initiatives to maintain operational efficiency and minimize downtime across all locations.

This role operates with substantial independence while maintaining direct accountability to the Production & Quality Coordinator.
