Our client is in search of a proactive and outcome-focused Sales Executive to drive the expansion of our corporate client portfolio. The ideal candidate will be tasked with identifying new business prospects, cultivating enduring customer relationships, and fulfilling sales targets within the stationery and office supplies industry.

As the inaugural sales hire within an anticipated expansion initiative, this role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to and evolve alongside a burgeoning sales team as the organization continues to grow and develop.

Oversee and execute critical duties that include managing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to budget constraints, while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes. Drive strategic initiatives by analyzing performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders to align objectives, resolve conflicts, and foster a culture of accountability and innovation. Additionally, mentor junior team members, provide clear direction, and evaluate progress to guarantee sustained growth and success within the organization.

Proactively source and secure new corporate clients, educational institutions, non-governmental organizations, and wholesale buyers.

Demonstrate and facilitate the acquisition of office stationery, educational materials, office consumables, printer toners, replacement cartridges, and associated products to drive sales and meet customer demand.

Perform client visits, deliver presentations, and conduct product demonstrations as required.

Cultivate and sustain enduring partnerships with clients to foster ongoing engagement and mutual growth.

Draft quotations and pursue potential sales opportunities diligently while maintaining a proactive approach to client engagement.

Ensure payments from onboarded clients are collected in a timely manner.

Generate a monthly revenue target of KES 1,000,000 through consistent sales performance.

Ensure meticulous documentation of all sales activities and client engagements to uphold precise and up-to-date records.

Conduct ongoing market analysis to detect emerging trends and potential avenues for business expansion.

Requirements

Professionals with prior sales expertise in stationery, office supplies, or printing industries are required for this role.
