We are seeking a dynamic Learning and Development professional to design, implement, and evaluate effective training programs that enhance employee skills and drive organizational growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in instructional design, adult learning principles, and talent development strategies, along with proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools. Responsibilities include conducting needs assessments, developing engaging learning content, and measuring program effectiveness through performance metrics and feedback. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is essential to ensure alignment with business objectives and foster a culture of continuous learning. A bachelor’s degree in education, human resources, or a related field, along with relevant certifications (e.g., ATD, SHAM), is required, and 3+ years of experience in learning and development is strongly preferred.

Perform systematic training needs evaluations in partnership with department heads to pinpoint skill deficiencies and establish key development objectives.

Craft and implement training initiatives that align with organizational objectives and individual employee development requirements.

Design and develop engaging, high-quality learning materials, including workshops, e-learning modules, manuals, and additional resources to support educational objectives.

Conduct onboarding, refresher, and capacity-building sessions spanning multiple functions to enhance skills and knowledge retention.

Oversee the administration and upkeep of training documentation and interactive learning dashboards.

Assess the impact of educational initiatives by analyzing participation rates, learning outcomes, and return on investment. Foster a collaborative learning environment that encourages knowledge exchange throughout the organization.

The GALT Program Management team is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of programs within the designated scope, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This role demands strong leadership to coordinate cross-functional teams, mitigate risks, and drive strategic initiatives to successful completion. Key requirements include a proven track record in program management, exceptional organizational abilities, and expertise in stakeholder engagement. The position entails managing multiple concurrent projects, fostering collaboration among diverse teams, and maintaining transparent communication with senior leadership and clients to align on objectives and address challenges proactively.

Oversee the full lifecycle of the Graduate Aquaculture Learning & Training (GALT) program from inception to completion.

Responsible for managing the recruitment and selection process for GALT trainees.

Oversee and track trainee rotations across various departments to ensure strict adherence to the six-month cycle.

Collaborate effectively with departmental managers to allocate mentors, monitor trainee progress, and resolve any development gaps.

Facilitate structured review meetings and conduct comprehensive performance evaluations for both trainees and supervisors to ensure alignment with organizational standards and development goals.

Enhance the GALT curriculum and its associated learning experiences on an ongoing basis.

Drives performance enhancement and talent cultivation initiatives to elevate organizational effectiveness and employee potential.

Assist managers with analyzing performance gaps and recommend targeted learning solutions to enhance team effectiveness.

Collaborate closely with the Head of HR to pinpoint high-performing individuals and craft tailored development programs aimed at nurturing their potential.

Facilitate the implementation of succession planning initiatives and leadership development frameworks.

Responsible for assessing and enhancing learning systems, this role involves evaluating the effectiveness of educational frameworks, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions to optimize learning outcomes. The position requires a thorough analysis of current systems, gathering data on performance metrics, and collaborating with stakeholders to align learning objectives with organizational goals. Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of instructional design principles are essential, along with the ability to interpret feedback and metrics to drive continuous improvement in learning programs.

Support the deployment and ongoing upkeep of learning management systems.

Monitor training attendance, compile participant feedback, and assess completion rates to ensure program efficacy.

Compile and deliver comprehensive learning and development reports to senior leadership, ensuring clarity and strategic alignment with organizational objectives.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a robust set of technical and interpersonal skills alongside formal qualifications, including a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as engineering, computer science, or business administration. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools, along with demonstrated experience in project management, data analysis, or strategic planning, is essential. Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, are required to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Additionally, candidates should exhibit problem-solving prowess, adaptability to evolving project demands, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Education, Business Administration, or a related field is required.

A minimum of three years of professional experience in Learning & Development or a comparable Human Resources position is required.

Demonstrates exceptional ability to facilitate discussions, coordinate efforts across teams, and produce clear, comprehensive reports.

Proven ability to cultivate strong interpersonal relationships and convey information clearly and effectively.

Experience overseeing well-organized training initiatives or graduate development programs would be highly beneficial.

Demonstrated expertise in educational technologies or online learning systems is required.
