Maestro Homes is in search of a meticulous and analytical Finance & Accounts Officer to oversee our financial processes. Within the real estate sector, financial accuracy is paramount; this includes monitoring property transactions and computing intricate agent commissions. Your responsibilities will encompass daily financial record-keeping, handling accounts payable and receivable, administering payroll and agent commissions, and delivering comprehensive financial reports to leadership to facilitate informed strategic business decisions.

Oversee a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and team leadership to drive organizational objectives forward. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards while fostering collaboration across departments. Develop and implement innovative initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and employee engagement. Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to achieve project milestones and deliver measurable results. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to cultivate a high-performing workforce. Monitor performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, clients, and senior management to facilitate clear communication and alignment on goals.

Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements, for executive review.

Collaborate with leadership to establish annual operating budgets and oversee cash flow management, thereby safeguarding the organization’s financial stability.

Compile and maintain all financial records essential for year-end tax preparation. Verify adherence to municipal real estate financial statutes, payroll tax obligations, and corporate fiscal regulations.

Responsibilities include ensuring the general ledger remains precise and current by reconciling bank records, processing vendor invoices and utility payments under accounts payable, and managing receivable transactions.

Conduct and engage in financial review meetings in collaboration with senior management to evaluate fiscal performance and strategic alignment.
