About The Role
Senior Product Managers at this level serve as primary owners, demonstrating a high level of expertise in their role. They oversee the success of designated personas while managing relationships across up to three countries or global divisions. Operating with autonomy and minimal supervision, they independently pinpoint customer requirements and transform strategic vision into tangible outcomes.
Oversee a variety of critical tasks, including managing project timelines, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress and address any deviations promptly. Facilitate effective communication between departments to streamline operations and resolve conflicts. Prepare detailed reports on performance metrics and project outcomes for leadership review. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity across assigned initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to align objectives with organizational goals while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Discovery & User Insight: Spearheads user research initiatives for designated personas, uncovering nuanced edge cases and distilling ambiguous user pain points into precise technical specifications and actionable tickets.
Strategy & Business Value (SRO): Demonstrates a strong grasp of Business Value Metrics (BVMs) and independently computes Social Return on Investment (SRO) for assigned features. Effectively articulates the rationale for feature development by leveraging fundamental data insights.
Data fluency is demonstrated through the establishment of success metrics, or KPIs, for product features. Leveraging analytics and data-driven insights, performance issues are diagnosed, and user funnels are systematically optimized to enhance overall effectiveness.
Validation and Prototyping: Determines the most effective prototyping techniques, such as Figma or paper prototypes, to assess solution viability. Carefully defines feature scope to align strictly with minimum viable product (MVP) requirements, thereby reducing unnecessary expenditure while optimizing learning opportunities.
Partners with Engineering to ensure feature scope aligns with available capacity, while proactively identifying and managing dependencies with external teams to mitigate potential blockers and guarantee on-time delivery.
Maintains an in-depth knowledge of the technical stack associated with their assigned features. Effectively evaluates and questions engineering estimates and complexity assessments in a constructive manner.
