Position Overview

The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring full adherence to applicable local regulations, corporate policies, and international certification requirements, such as GLOBAL. A.P, META, LEAF Marque, and Rainforest Alliance across all farm operations. This position collaborates extensively with the Human Resources Department, Health & Safety Supervisor, and all field and production teams to uphold compliance standards, sustain audit preparedness, and foster an organizational culture rooted in safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Oversee and execute core duties and obligations, including strategic planning, operational management, and team leadership to ensure organizational objectives are met. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency, productivity, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous growth. Monitor and evaluate workflows, resource allocation, and project timelines to maintain accountability and meet deliverables. Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional development through mentorship, training initiatives, and performance feedback. Represent the organization in external engagements, such as stakeholder meetings, industry conferences, and regulatory interactions, to uphold its reputation and strategic partnerships.
