We are actively seeking an accomplished and goal-oriented Senior Sales Associate to join our client, a premier provider of ICT, ELF (Extra Low Voltage), and integrated technology solutions throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.

The ideal candidate will spearhead sales expansion, cultivate high-value client partnerships, uncover new business prospects, and extend the company’s presence across regional markets. This position demands a commercially astute professional with a track record in selling ICT equipment, technology solutions, networking infrastructure, security systems, data center solutions, or related offerings.

The successful candidate should exhibit extensive regional market knowledge extending beyond Kenya and a proven ability to meet sales targets, oversee critical accounts, and finalize high-value B2B transactions.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Direct and coordinate activities within the team or department, fostering collaboration and efficiency to achieve established goals. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and implement improvements to enhance productivity and quality outcomes. Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline workflows and mitigate risks. Serve as a liaison between stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and resolving conflicts as needed. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and ethical guidelines to uphold organizational integrity.

Leverage market insights to identify, develop, and successfully secure new business prospects throughout Kenya and across regional territories.

Drive the expansion of ICT equipment, ELF systems, and technology solutions across diverse sectors, including corporate, government, NGO, education, and commercial markets, with a focus on sales and business development initiatives.

Create and implement strategic sales initiatives designed to meet and exceed revenue growth objectives.

Oversee the full sales cycle, encompassing prospecting, closing, and ongoing account management.

Craft proposals, quotations, presentations, and tender responses to meet project specifications and client expectations.

Develop and nurture enduring connections with current and potential clients to foster long-term partnerships and mutual growth.

Analyze client business requirements and recommend suitable technological solutions.

Deliver consistent client engagements, including on-site visits, informative presentations, and dynamic product demonstrations, to foster strong relationships and showcase offerings effectively.

Dedicate efforts to maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction and fostering long-term retention rates.

Identify and cultivate business prospects within East African markets and other Sub-Saharan African regions.

Stay abreast of industry developments, track competitor actions, and identify emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making.

Evaluate emerging market segments and potential avenues for expansion to drive business growth.

Develop comprehensive sales forecasts, generate detailed pipeline reports, and compile strategic business development updates.

Deliver actionable market intelligence and strategic insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making processes.

Collaborate on the formulation and execution of sales strategies to drive business growth and meet organizational objectives.

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a closely related discipline is required.

With a minimum of five years of proven track record in B2B sales across the ICT, ELF, telecommunications, networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or technology solutions industries, the ideal candidate will bring extensive hands-on experience to this role.

Achieved measurable success in the sales of ICT equipment and technology solutions.

Experienced in managing and expanding operations across diverse regional markets beyond Kenya.

Proficient in ICT infrastructure, networking, security systems, data center solutions, and related technologies, with a solid grasp of their principles and applications.

Proven expertise in crafting compelling proposals, delivering impactful presentations, and conducting effective negotiations.

Proven expertise in commercial strategy and a track record of successfully negotiating and finalizing lucrative agreements.

Capable of establishing and nurturing high-level client relationships with senior executives.

Demonstrates strong expertise in CRM platforms and the Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in utilizing their respective tools and features.

Demonstrates flexibility to travel domestically within Kenya and throughout the region as needed.
