Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and equipment throughout all facilities to ensure optimal performance.
Perform regular inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance on HVAC units in strict adherence to manufacturer guidelines and established safety protocols.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions within HVAC systems at the component level, executing precise corrective repairs to enhance equipment longevity and minimize replacement expenses.
Maintain, repair, and enhance air conditioning systems and related ventilation control systems to guarantee optimal indoor air quality and comfort.
To design, refine, and execute preventive maintenance programs for HVAC systems, aiming to enhance system reliability and minimize operational interruptions.
Ensure that HVAC work executed by external contractors or service providers adheres to established quality, safety, and performance benchmarks through thorough oversight and inspection.
Maintain precise documentation and records of all HVAC-related operations, encompassing maintenance schedules, service documentation, and technical schematics.
Verify that HVAC controls and automation systems are accurately calibrated and configured to maximize energy efficiency and maintain consistent operation.
Ensure strict compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations when managing refrigerants, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
Offer expert technical guidance and support to leadership and maintenance staff regarding HVAC systems, addressing current challenges and planned upgrades.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager that are appropriate and pertinent to the role.
The requirements
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field. A minimum of three years of experience in marketing, advertising, or a comparable role is required. Proficiency in digital marketing tools, such as Google Analytics, SEO, and social media platforms, is essential. Strong analytical, project management, and written communication skills are necessary. Familiarity with content management systems and marketing automation software is a plus.
A minimum of a Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) or an equivalent qualification is essential.
A recognized institution must have awarded a Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or an equivalent technical qualification.
Proven expertise in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair accrued through at least three years of hands-on experience in institutional, industrial, or commercial settings is required.
Proficiency in environmental and safety regulations pertinent to refrigerant handling and system maintenance is required.
Proven expertise in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC systems with precision and technical proficiency.
