The ideal candidate will oversee the pastry and bakery department, overseeing the creation of premium baked goods while developing creative and seasonal dessert concepts. Oversee and execute primary functions and obligations, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards. Prepare, manage, and ensure the efficient production of a diverse range of pastries, cakes, cookies, desserts, and artisan breads.

Maintain consistency in quality, taste, and presentation of all bakery products

Monitor kitchen expenditures, optimize cost efficiency, and oversee the pastry department’s financial planning with precision.

Ensure all ingredients and supplies are stored, handled, and inventoried correctly to maintain optimal quality and availability.

Oversee, mentor, and assist junior pastry team members in their daily tasks to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Monitor inventory levels and ensure the procurement of baking supplies and materials occurs in a timely fashion.

Ensure strict adherence to food safety protocols, hygiene regulations, and HACCP compliance standards specifically within the pastry section.

Perform systematic evaluations of ingredients, equipment, and baking tools to verify compliance with established quality standards.

Introduce innovative pastry and dessert creations to enhance the menu’s appeal, driving customer satisfaction and business growth.

Provide assistance with the recruitment and onboarding processes for pastry team members as needed.

The ideal applicant will possess a minimum of five years of relevant experience, supported by a relevant degree or certification in a related field.
