Role Description
This internship opportunity is for a Sales Intern position situated on-site in Kenya. The Sales Intern will collaborate with the sales team on a day-to-day basis, interacting with customers, identifying their requirements, and offering tailored product recommendations. Key responsibilities involve supporting sales initiatives, mastering and implementing effective sales strategies, liaising with clients to elevate their experience, and engaging in developmental workshops to hone skills in sales and customer service.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience is required. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential. Three or more years of experience in software development or a related field is necessary. Familiarity with databases, APIs, and cloud platforms is preferred. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills are mandatory. Experience with agile methodologies and software development lifecycle is highly valued. Understanding of version control systems such as Git is required.
Proficient in communication and customer service to foster meaningful client interactions and ensure satisfaction.
Individuals with a foundational understanding of or enthusiasm for Sales and Sales Management methodologies are encouraged to apply.
