The Cluster Director of Revenue oversees the development and execution of their home hotel’s Commercial Strategy team’s commercial vision, setting strategic objectives and deploying tactical initiatives to drive revenue growth across key customer segments and revenue centers. Additionally, they uphold the hotel’s brand positioning and reputation. This role ensures the integrity of data quality and analysis, delivers actionable insights, and recommends revenue and e-commerce strategies to the Commercial Strategy team, corporate leadership, and ownership entities. They also optimize inventory allocation and pricing parameters to align with overall revenue objectives while collaborating with stakeholders to enhance profitability. Furthermore, the position focuses on identifying and nurturing revenue management talent within the home hotel.

As a Cluster Director of Revenue, your responsibilities include overseeing two properties while providing strategic guidance, mentorship, and coaching to support their operations, ensuring alignment with the overarching objectives established for your home hotel through consistent communication and on-site engagement. This position serves as a key liaison between the Regional Director of Revenue Management, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing, and Regional Vice President, facilitating effective oversight of the assigned hotel and its surrounding area.

Performs a range of duties including managing day-to-day operations, overseeing project execution, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency, troubleshoot issues, and achieve strategic objectives. Develops and maintains performance metrics to monitor progress and identify areas for improvement. Prepares reports on operational activities, key performance indicators, and project milestones for senior leadership. Participates in budget planning, resource allocation, and financial oversight to support organizational goals. Supports team development through mentoring, training, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Ensures adherence to industry regulations, quality standards, and safety protocols. Acts as a liaison between departments to streamline communication and resolve interdepartmental challenges.

Spearheads the development and implementation of all channel distribution strategies, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives. Assesses and pursues emerging business prospects tied to booking channels to drive growth and optimize revenue streams.

Partner with the Marketing team to implement, assess, and enhance digital marketing initiatives, aligning them with the hotel’s strategic marketing objectives while adhering to allocated budgets.

Collaborating closely with the Marketing team, this role oversees performance reviews in partnership with OTA/CTO stakeholders, diligently tracking each partner’s distribution channels and extranet maintenance standards to secure the hotel’s optimal visibility. Drives incremental revenue growth by strategically leveraging upsell initiatives across all booking channels.

As the designated system owner for RMS, CRS (including ORS and TARS), the Rate shopping system, Travel CLICK products, and hotel-specific platforms, you will ensure data quality and system hygiene are maintained in accordance with Accor’s established standards, recommendations, and procedures.

Responsible for supervising content management across all digital platforms, collaborates with the hotel’s Marketing team to maintain timely updates of imagery and descriptions for the hotel, its room categories, outlets, and services.

Manages interactions and collaborations with the Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Distribution services teams.

Develops and nurtures connections with local market competitors to stay updated on emerging trends and relevant industry developments.

Supports properties lacking sufficient revenue management coverage, including situations where revenue managers are absent or where expertise in system utilization and daily tasks is limited.

The incumbent is responsible for evaluating revenue standard operating procedures (SOP) and ensuring their proper implementation across properties.

First-line support is provided for revenue management systems utilized by area hotels, encompassing daily, weekly, and monthly revenue-related tasks in alignment with the Accor revenue management task list.

In instances where strategic opportunities—such as pricing adjustments, shifts in business mix, changes in allotment allocations, or any other factors that could substantially influence a property’s financial performance—arise, immediate escalation is required to facilitate a more thorough review by RDRM.

At a minimum, the role involves delivering monthly progress reports and key findings to the RDRM regarding developments in local hotels, while also disseminating newly recognized best practices.

Assists Area hotel General Managers by providing performance evaluation feedback to District Revenue Managers.

Seeking a motivated individual with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with expertise in database management and system architecture. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
