This is a full-time, on-site position for a Student Admission Officer located in Nairobi. The incumbent will assist prospective students throughout the admissions journey, addressing inquiries, delivering program details, and facilitating campus tours or information sessions.

This position encompasses evaluating applications, validating supporting documents, and collaborating with academic and administrative departments to ensure prompt admission determinations. The incumbent will oversee meticulous record-keeping of inquiries and applicant data, conduct follow-ups with prospective students, and facilitate both domestic and global recruitment initiatives.

This role involves engaging with prospective candidates and their families at various outreach events, education fairs, and school visits, all while maintaining a courteous and professional environment.

Qualifications

Skilled at establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships with prospective students, parents, and internal stakeholders through effective interpersonal communication.

Proven experience or a solid understanding of international admissions procedures, coupled with a demonstrated ability to engage effectively across diverse cultural contexts.

Proven ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively in both spoken and written formats, ensuring effective presentations, client consultations, and subsequent follow-up communications.

Demonstrated expertise in customer service, emphasizing responsiveness, professionalism, and support tailored to student needs.

Candidates should possess a solid background or demonstrate a keen interest in the education sector, with a particular focus on student recruitment.

A bachelor’s degree in Education, Business, Communications, or a related discipline—or equivalent practical experience—is required.

Capable of maintaining a full-time, on-site presence in Nairobi while effectively balancing a variety of priorities and consistently meeting established admissions’ deadlines.

Proficiency in fundamental office software and student information systems or CRM platforms is required, while prior experience in admissions or counseling is highly desirable.
