Role Purpose

The role is designed to oversee and guide the sales team, cultivate and expand new sales prospects, and enhance client retention strategies to grow the business by leveraging all available tools and resources, ultimately surpassing the targets established by management.

You will be responsible for executing a range of duties and obligations as part of this position. Key tasks include managing day-to-day operations, overseeing project execution, ensuring compliance with organizational policies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Additional responsibilities involve analyzing performance metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will also serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, addressing inquiries and resolving issues efficiently. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under deadlines are essential for success in this role.

Identifies potential business opportunities by assessing prospects and determining their market standing, conducting thorough research, and analyzing viable sales alternatives.

Succeeds in product sales by proactively engaging prospects, cultivating meaningful connections, and delivering tailored solutions that fulfill customer needs.

Ensure all requests and quotes sent to prospective clients receive necessary follow-up attention to secure business opportunities.

Achieve the predetermined monthly sales revenue targets consistently.

Maintain a zero-tolerance policy for unresolved client queries, guaranteeing every inquiry receives a timely and definitive resolution.

Proactively conduct client visits and maintain consistent follow-ups to uphold satisfaction and foster business growth.

Maintains client relationships by delivering support, sharing relevant information, and offering guidance, while also identifying and suggesting new opportunities. Additionally, the role involves researching potential enhancements to services and profitability to drive continuous improvement.

Stays abreast of industry developments, market dynamics, and competitive actions to uncover opportunities for product enhancements or innovations.

Compiles reports by gathering, evaluating, and condensing data to ensure timely submission in accordance with established deadlines.

Maintains service quality by upholding and enforcing organizational standards. Ensures ongoing professional and technical development by participating in educational workshops, cultivating professional networks, and adopting cutting-edge best practices.

Facilitates the team’s success by delivering key results and supporting objectives as required.

A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business administration, is required. Additionally, candidates must possess at least three years of professional experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, are also necessary to collaborate effectively with teams. Candidates should demonstrate a track record of delivering results and adapting to changing business needs.

Holders of a Diploma in Sales and Marketing or a comparable qualification in a related discipline are encouraged to apply.

A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in sales and business development within a CFS, freight forwarding, or logistics organization is required.

Demonstrated success in consistently achieving established sales objectives.

Demonstrated proficiency in conveying ideas, engaging stakeholders, and driving consensus across diverse organizational levels through compelling communication and persuasive presentation skills.
