Job Purpose:
The job purpose of this role is to lead the development and execution of creative designs, concepts, and strategies across multiple channels. The primary responsibility of this role is to elevate the company’s brand image and achieve business objectives through high-quality, visually compelling designs. As the Senior Graphic Designer, you will lead a team of designers and manage projects from concept to final product, ensuring that all designs are delivered on time
Key Responsibilities:
Designing all forms of branding and marketing content using graphic design tools including design and editing software, including (but not limited) colour and font selection, photo and video editing, layouts, graphics, icons, logos and other design requirements to communicate creative concepts and messaging
Work in collaboration with the rest of the marketing team to offer and develop ideas, concepts, strategies and proposals for marketing campaigns and activities that will drive company sales and build the brand across all marketing channels
Ensure full understanding and utilisation of the Trello project management platform for all tasks
Conceptualizing and executing design concepts that elevate creative output and push boundaries of creative thinking and design in the execution of brand and marketing presentation
Ensure creation of all branding and marketing communication is effectively executed and optimized for all required marketing platforms, and completed within set timelines
Work with the design team to conceptualize and design all forms of marketing communication effective for all digital platforms as well as retail outlets and wholesale market
Taking a leading role in improving the quality of design work and ideas for branding and marketing communication and supporting and guiding the other designers to learn, develop and execute elevated standards of design output
Keep up-to-date with current design trends, global and local, and undertake monthly research on competitor branding and marketing communication
Be a custodian and protector of brand standards across all brand touchpoints and ensure all branding and marketing presentation consistently meets the set standards and guidelines without exception
Lead by example in living the Hotpoint culture and values and be driven and ambitious to achieve personal growth and growth for the company
Learn, read and expand your understanding of branding and marketing to develop a broader and deeper knowledge base and keep knowledge relevant and up to date
Key Performance Indicators:
Consistent, high-quality, creative design and execution of all required content as per specified campaigns within set timelines
Completion of all tasks assigned as per the Trello management platform within specified deadlines stated
Consistent, quality, accurate, timely roll out and execution of all agreed marketing communication as per specified campaign across all communication channels
Elevating the quality and creativity of design work and ideas for branding and marketing communication and driving a higher standard of design output in the design team, evidenced by the consistent improvements in content created
Leading by example in exemplifying the Hotpoint brand culture and values and demonstrating a commitment to professional growth and excellence in all work
