Job Summary
As the Branch Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the business toward its strategic objectives at the branch level. This position involves crafting and executing strong business strategies to stimulate growth in revenue, profitability, market share, and client acquisition, while also managing all operational aspects of the branch.
Responsibilities, Functions, and Essential Duties
Provides oversight of daily operations to ensure adherence to established protocols and standards. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align objectives and streamline workflows. Participates in strategic planning sessions to contribute to long-term organizational goals. Conducts regular performance evaluations and provides constructive feedback to foster professional growth. Manages budgets, allocates resources, and monitors expenditures to maintain financial accountability. Ensures compliance with industry regulations and internal policies through diligent monitoring and audits. Leads initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and implement best practices. Serves as a liaison between departments to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration.
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development professional to drive product growth strategies, expand into new markets, and execute direct sales initiatives through proactive outreach efforts, including in-person visits, targeted email campaigns, and strategic telemarketing outreach.
Attend Board of Trustees (BOT) meetings to enhance client relations, facilitate open forums for engagement, and promote the cross-selling of additional products to existing clients.
Strategic Planning (10%): Perform comprehensive SWOT analyses for each branch and execute departmental strategies to sustain a competitive edge.
Coordinate daily operational tasks and administrative functions, manage office infrastructure, and optimize resource utilization to enhance overall efficiency.
Appraising branch staff performance, enforcing key performance indicators, managing leave schedules, and identifying training requirements constitute the team leadership responsibilities, which account for 5% of the overall role.
Conduct a thorough assessment of operational risks, develop and implement mitigation strategies, and communicate findings to the line manager to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
Seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in software development, systems architecture, or a comparable discipline. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, databases, and cloud platforms is essential, along with strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of delivering scalable solutions. Excellent communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and cybersecurity principles is highly desirable.
A minimum of five years of relevant work experience is required for this position, ideally within the financial services industry.
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Public Relations, or a closely related discipline is required.
Industry Knowledge: Possesses comprehensive expertise in pension and insurance sectors, retirement benefits programs, and investment accounting practices. • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrates strong command of CRM software and the MS Office Suite, including Word and Excel.
Core Competencies: Demonstrated proficiency in leadership, presentation delivery, data analysis, market research, and strategic decision-making.
