Strath more School is in search of a dedicated and highly qualified educator specializing in Mathematics and Science & Technology to strengthen its Lower Primary team. The chosen applicant will deliver Mathematics instruction as the core subject, while also instructing students in Science and Technology, covering Grades 1 through 3.

We seek a candidate with deep subject expertise and a passionate commitment to educating young learners, coupled with the skill to create dynamic, developmentally suitable lessons that capture their interest.

Overseeing a wide range of critical duties, this role entails managing key operational functions, including strategic planning, team leadership, and performance monitoring to ensure organizational objectives are met. The position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive project execution, resolve challenges, and optimize workflows for maximum efficiency. Additionally, the role involves analyzing data to inform decision-making, implementing process improvements, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. Develop and implement engaging, high-quality Mathematics and Science & Technology lessons tailored specifically for learners in Grades 1 through 3.

Create engaging, competency-based learning activities that fully align with the Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) framework. Develop and execute structured instructional materials and experiences designed to meet student learning outcomes as outlined in the CBC standards.

Track learner development systematically, delivering prompt, constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.

Ensure precise documentation of learners’ attendance, progress, and overall development.

Foster a welcoming, diverse, and engaging classroom atmosphere that supports all students’ learning and development.

We work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to foster learner wellbeing and academic success.

Engage actively in various school-related events, contribute to staff meetings, and take advantage of professional development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
