Job Purpose:
The position serves as the primary liaison for customers, focusing on delivering exceptional service while actively promoting products to both new and existing clients to expand high-value business across asset and liability portfolios. Additionally, the role is responsible for driving revenue streams in alignment with the segment head’s established performance targets.
Accountable for maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and expanding the financial engagement within the assigned portfolio through strategic retention initiatives. Tasked with cultivating the Shariah-compliant financing segment and optimizing the overall Barak ah Banking portfolio across all branch locations.
Oversee a comprehensive array of critical duties encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and performance evaluation to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Lead cross-functional teams with exceptional leadership and communication skills, fostering collaboration and driving project success. Develop and implement innovative solutions to optimize efficiency, mitigate risks, and enhance productivity across all departmental functions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify trends, and implement corrective measures as needed. Serve as a primary liaison with stakeholders, executives, and external partners to cultivate strong relationships and facilitate seamless communication. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices to maintain compliance and uphold organizational integrity.
Prospect and engage with prospective clients, presenting and promoting the bank’s products and services to foster interest and generate business opportunities.
Develop stronger relationships with current clients by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and enhancing their engagement levels.
Organize and lead consistent meetings to cultivate client relationships and broaden professional networks.
Collect essential financial and non-financial documentation necessary for conducting thorough credit assessments.
Formulate and execute strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the designated portfolio’s scope and effectiveness.

Ensure adherence to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations, evaluate financial documents, negotiate contractual terms, and oversee operational processes to optimize service delivery.
A Master’s degree in a relevant field or its equivalent is required for consideration. Candidates must possess a strong academic record and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development. Prior to teaching experience at the university level is highly desirable, particularly in disciplines aligned with the department’s focus. Additionally, applicants should exhibit proficiency in research methodologies and a capacity for scholarly publication.
A bachelor’s degree in a social science discipline or a closely related field is required.
Proficiency in Islamic Banking principles and relevant certifications are required.

Possession of relevant professional certifications or affiliations with recognized industry organizations, along with a track record of scholarly or industry-related publications demonstrating expertise and thought leadership in the respective field.
