Job Introduction
The Natural History Unit is the world leader in natural history programming. This includes the outstanding landmark Seven Worlds One Planet, Dynasties and exceptional live events such as The Watches and Blue Planet Live.
Having secured a sizable amount of new business this year the NHU is looking to create a pool of Production Managers to work across our broad variety and scale of productions.
We have opportunities to suit a vast spectrum of skillsets including highly experienced PMs looking for exciting new challenges with scale as well as opportunities for those seeking career development to take on their first PM positions.
This Pool is only effective for 4 months and relates to those roles which are due to commence before the end of July 2022.

There will be an informal interview to enter the pool and you may be invited for further discussion about specific projects as they arise.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience of complex international filming set up
You must have held a JPM role with line management responsibilities (for at least 12months) or have PM credits.
Experience and knowledge of BBC systems, policies and processes beneficial.
Proven experience of autonomous management of a production budget and be highly competent at forecasting and reforecasting series costs and assessing financial risk.
Proven experience of working on production with complex co-producer agreements
