Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, this role will oversee all quality assurance functions, directing quality control initiatives throughout the supply chain. The Quality Assurance Manager will administer audits and compliance protocols, lead quality teams, and uphold adherence to both local and international food safety regulations, including Global. A.P., HACCP, BRC, phytosanitary standards, and any customer-specific mandates.

Ensure the implementation and maintenance of robust Quality Assurance and Food Safety Systems to uphold the highest standards of product integrity and regulatory compliance. Oversee comprehensive inspections, audits, and testing procedures to verify adherence to established protocols, industry regulations, and safety guidelines. Collaborate closely with production teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to identify potential risks, implement corrective actions, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Monitor and document all quality metrics, non-conformances, and corrective actions to facilitate data-driven decision-making and maintain full transparency. Develop and deliver training programs to reinforce food safety practices and quality standards across all operational levels. Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements, emerging industry trends, and best practices to proactively enhance system effectiveness and mitigate risks.

Investigating customer and export partner quality complaints, you will perform comprehensive root cause analyses and subsequently establish corrective and preventive measures to minimize recurrence.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams. Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards is a plus.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Microbiology, or a closely related discipline is required.
With a minimum of seven years of hands-on experience in quality assurance within the food processing sector, you bring a proven track record of ensuring compliance and maintaining high standards.
Proficient in quality control processes, testing methodologies, regulatory compliance, and food safety regulations.
Proficiency in quality management systems, laboratory operations, audit processes, and export compliance regulations would be considered advantageous.
