As an Account Manager at Kiss, you will oversee and nurture relationships within a designated portfolio of established customers. You will act as a key advisor throughout the entire customer journey, fostering retention, uncovering growth opportunities, facilitating renewals, and guaranteeing that customers fully leverage the capabilities of the Kiss platform.

You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Support, Product, Billing, and Partnerships teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes while contributing to the growth of expansion MRR for hardware, software, integrations, intercom, visitor management, cameras, and other Kiss offerings. What you’ll do

Oversee a diverse portfolio of small to medium-sized business (SMB) and mid-market customer accounts spanning industries such as fitness, coworking, commercial real estate, and education.

Develop and maintain robust customer relationships by engaging proactively through communication, conducting strategic business reviews, and delivering operational support.

Deliver outstanding customer retention rates and ensure seamless renewals by proactively identifying potential risks, then collaborating with internal teams to develop and execute effective mitigation strategies.

We seek to identify and secure expansion opportunities across various domains, such as additional access points, new facility locations, enhanced software licenses, seamless system integrations, advanced intercom systems, visitor management solutions, and comprehensive camera security measures.

Collaborate proactively with Billing Support and Technical Support teams to expedite the resolution of customer issues.

Maintain precise records of account activity, health status, monitoring for renewals, and opportunity tracking within the HubSpot and Chargebee platforms.

Partner with Product and Partnerships teams to communicate customer feedback and uncover potential avenues for expansion.

Facilitate seamless onboarding processes and drive customer adoption programs to enhance long-term account sustainability and growth.

To consistently surpass monthly expansion and retention objectives, ensuring sustained growth and customer loyalty.

Assist in enhancing internal processes, refining documentation, and optimizing customer success workflows as the Account Management team expands.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. A minimum of five years of experience in software development, specifically with Python, is essential. Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming is necessary. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are critical. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus. Excellent communication skills for articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are also required.

With a minimum of two to four years of hands-on experience in Account Management, Customer Success, SaaS Sales, or another client-facing role within the SaaS sector, you possess a proven track record in driving revenue growth and fostering long-term client relationships.

Fluent and articulate verbal and written communication abilities in English are essential.

Proven track record in overseeing customer lifecycle management, including acquisition, retention, and growth initiatives, with a focus on fostering long-term partnerships and maximizing revenue opportunities.

Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced startup or high-growth organizational settings.

Aptitude for organizing tasks efficiently while overseeing numerous client accounts concurrently is essential.

Proven proficiency in customer relationship management platforms, including HubSpot and Salesforce, is required.

Demonstrated skill in collaborating effectively with diverse teams, including those with technical expertise and those without, to achieve shared objectives.

Self-driven with a proactive approach and a strong sense of personal responsibility and accountability.

Experience within SaaS, physical security, prop tech, coworking, or fitness technology sectors is particularly advantageous.

Proficiency in subscription-based software platforms or recurring revenue business models is strongly preferred.

Fluency in an additional language, such as Spanish or French, is strongly preferred.
