What You’ll Do
Spearhead consumer marketing initiatives throughout East Africa, while also providing strategic support for culturally tailored campaigns in other Sub-Saharan African markets.
Collaborate with multifaceted teams in marketing, music, partnerships, media, analytics, and creative to develop and implement campaigns seamlessly from strategic planning to execution.
Utilize both on-platform and off-platform analytics to uncover audience behaviors, market opportunities, and key growth drivers, enabling the development of data-driven marketing strategies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to craft concise and impactful creative and media briefs.
Spearhead strategic initiatives to attract, engage, and retain users across both Free and Premium segments, ensuring sustainable growth and long-term value.
Forge and cultivate strategic alliances with local collaborators, including influencers, agencies, and cultural hubs, to amplify brand visibility and enhance consumer preference.
Examine campaign outcomes, extract key insights, and develop data-driven recommendations to optimize future initiatives and market approaches.
Tailor worldwide marketing strategies to align seamlessly with regional preferences and cultural nuances, ensuring relevance and impact across varied consumer segments and market conditions.
In collaboration with internal teams and regional partners, facilitate initiatives that promote local music and cultural events, enhancing community engagement and market reach.
Who You Are
With a minimum of four years of experience in consumer marketing, brand marketing, or campaign management within East Africa, you are well-equipped for this role.
You possess a proven track record of successfully operating across diverse Sub-Saharan African markets or executing cohesive regional campaigns, demonstrating adaptability and regional expertise.
With a strong background in brand strategy, consumer insights, digital marketing, media, and/or project management, your expertise aligns with the dynamic demands of this role.
You possess a proven track record of executing high-impact marketing campaigns across diverse industries, including digital businesses, FMCG, retail, entertainment, and technology environments.
Skilled in converting consumer and cultural insights into impactful marketing strategies and high-performing campaigns
You possess strong proficiency in analyzing data and performance metrics to assess outcomes and enhance marketing efficiency.
While adeptly balancing competing priorities, you maintain meticulous attention to detail and consistently deliver high-quality results.
