Establish production centers for cookstoves, focusing on their operationalization while ensuring rigorous testing, adherence to quality standards, and regulatory compliance. Strengthen supply chains for both stoves and alternative fuels, with particular emphasis on optimizing last-mile distribution networks.

Drive adoption of clean cooking solutions by implementing behavior change campaigns, conducting community sensitization initiatives, and executing pilot demonstrations of various fuels and appliances to evaluate performance, efficiency, affordability, and user acceptance.

Provide comprehensive technical training to artisans, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and refugee-run businesses, covering key areas such as design principles, production techniques, safety protocols, efficiency testing methods, and clean energy technologies—including alternative fuels and eco-friendly cooking solutions.

Deliver tailored business coaching and capacity-building initiatives to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operated by refugees and host communities, perform detailed market and consumer evaluations, pinpoint viable opportunities for productive energy applications, and facilitate seamless integration of these opportunities into their business models and access to financing pathways.

Offer technical expertise to implement Results-Based Reimbursement (RBR) mechanisms, ensure enterprise adherence to regulatory standards, and develop frameworks for capturing, validating, and reporting performance data in collaboration with the MEAL team.

Develop and execute monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEAL) frameworks, while executing socio-economic, gender, and affordability surveys. Provide structured reporting to GIG and donor partners, ensuring comprehensive data analysis and insights.

Develop and implement digital data collection and monitoring solutions, facilitate digital innovation pilots—such as mobile payment systems, smart metering, and remote monitoring—and enhance partner capabilities in data utilization and reporting.

Deliver comprehensive technical assistance for environmental, gender, and social safeguards throughout all projects while guaranteeing adherence to relevant standards and regulatory obligations.

Compile and document key insights, innovations, and proven methodologies; develop analytical reports and knowledge-sharing materials; and organize and lead learning initiatives, training sessions, and workshops to enhance program learning, facilitate replication, and support scale-up efforts.

We seek a candidate who must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in a similar role. The ideal applicant will demonstrate proficiency in project management software and strong analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Excellent communication and organizational abilities are required to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Additionally, familiarity with industry regulations and standards is highly desirable to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

A master’s degree in electrical/energy engineering or mechanical/environmental engineering is a prerequisite for this position.
