The Role
As a key leadership position, this role is responsible for driving one of the company’s most critical functions: overseeing the strategies that attract new customers, foster their loyalty, and maximize their long-term value to Green spoon.
You will spearhead the entire growth infrastructure, encompassing customer acquisition, retention strategies, experience enhancement, campaign execution, journey optimization, performance-driven marketing, lifecycle engagement, partnership development, assortment innovation, and the identification of fresh commercial opportunities—all aimed at propelling the organization to its next phase of expansion.
This position is designed for individuals who go beyond mere campaign management, seeking those who can analyze the entire customer journey, pinpoint the most significant opportunities, and develop the infrastructure to capitalize on them.
You’ll spearhead a cross-functional team comprising marketing analysts, designers, and promoters, collaborating closely with departments such as product, technology, commercial, operations, finance, and customer service.
This position is designed to transform campaign-driven growth into a structured, scalable operating system.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, overseeing project timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints. Additionally, the role entails conducting performance evaluations, identifying process improvements, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. The position also requires fostering client relationships, preparing comprehensive reports, and resolving operational challenges swiftly.
Develop and implement scalable approaches to attract and onboard high-quality customers through paid media, organic channels, partnerships, referrals, offline activations, and emerging growth opportunities.
Drive customer retention and foster repeat purchases by taking ownership of the post-purchase experience. Enhance conversion rates for second orders, boost 30-day engagement metrics, increase repeat transaction frequency, reactivate inactive customers, and maximize long-term customer value.
We specialize in performance marketing, overseeing and optimizing campaigns across Google Ads, Meta, email, WhatsApp, app channels, and other high-potential platforms. Our focus is on identifying what drives results and what doesn’t, ensuring strategic investments in the most effective channels.
Lifecycle marketing involves designing and optimizing customer journeys across platforms like Breve and other tools to enhance engagement. This includes developing welcome flows, second-order flows, reactivation flows, win-back journeys, category journeys, loyalty journeys, and customer education initiatives.
Ensure that our offerings are compelling, well-defined, and tailored to meet the unique needs of diverse customer segments. This involves emphasizing key differentiators such as convenience, superior product quality, health-conscious options, competitive value, exclusive discounts, a comprehensive supermarket selection, and tailored promotions for specific product categories.
Growth analytics entails monitoring key performance indicators such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), conversion rates, customer retention, repeat purchase frequency, second-order rate, average order value (AOV), purchase frequency, customer lifetime value (CLV), return on advertising spend (ROAS), campaign payback periods, churn rates, and reactivation efforts. The role involves translating data insights into actionable strategies to drive growth.
Craft robust testing mechanisms to evaluate hooks, offers, landing pages, emails, advertisements, and customer communications. Facilitate accelerated learning and scalable growth by identifying and expanding on successful strategies.
Enhance product and customer experience by collaborating with technology and product teams to streamline the customer journey. Focus on optimizing key areas such as checkout, search functionality, app experience, landing pages, category discovery, payments, and flows for repeat purchases.
Assess product, category, and business line opportunities to drive growth in both new and existing customer segments. Identify strategic avenues for expansion and collaborate with the commercial team to transform these insights into targeted campaigns and compelling offers.
Develop and nurture strategic partnerships and innovative channels to acquire high-value customers at an optimal customer acquisition cost. Continuously evaluate and pilot new channels while maintaining a disciplined and focused approach to ensure sustainable growth.
Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline, complemented by at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience. Proficiency in GAAP standards and advanced expertise in ERP systems are essential. Additional requirements include a CPA certification and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with tax regulations and audit procedures is also necessary.
For this management position, candidates must possess a minimum of five years of professional experience.

A background in a growth-oriented position within e-commerce or a related field would be advantageous.
Experience in working in a fast-paced environment such as (strategy) consulting, start-ups, scale-ups and investment banking is a plus.
Proficiency in cross-border operations or prior involvement in global initiatives is advantageous.
