Job Summary

The position requires overseeing the strategic direction, operational management, and performance of the organization’s IT operations function, with a focus on maintaining the availability, stability, security, and efficiency of all technology infrastructure and services.

Oversee a range of critical tasks encompassing strategic planning, operational execution, and stakeholder engagement to drive organizational success. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align departmental goals with broader company objectives, ensuring efficient resource allocation and adherence to performance targets. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity, compliance, and risk management. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Lead and mentor team members through regular performance evaluations, skill development initiatives, and constructive feedback to foster a high-performing culture. Represent the organization in external partnerships, negotiations, and industry events to strengthen relationships and uphold the company’s reputation. Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements, ethical standards, and industry regulations while maintaining transparency and accountability in all operations.

Formulate and implement an IT Operations strategy that harmonizes with business and IT goals, establishing operational benchmarks and protocols grounded in ITIL principles and industry-leading methodologies.

Demonstrate leadership across infrastructure and support teams to foster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, service quality, resilience, and ongoing enhancement.

Responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise infrastructure components such as networks, databases, servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, cloud environments, and end-user computing systems to uphold optimal availability and robust performance standards.

Oversee the execution of IT service delivery processes—specifically incident, problem, change, and request management—in strict adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs), with an emphasis on enhancing service desk efficiency and end-user satisfaction.

Proactively oversee monitoring, maintenance, capacity planning, system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management to reduce downtime and service disruptions.

Collaborate with IT Security teams to uphold infrastructure security, ensure adherence to regulatory standards, maintain audit readiness, and manage operational risks effectively.

Develop and implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity strategies to guarantee system resilience and prompt restoration in alignment with specified Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO) parameters. Conduct thorough testing of these plans to validate their effectiveness and ensure seamless operational recovery when disruptions occur.

Cultivate and oversee partnerships with technology vendors, service providers, and key business stakeholders to guarantee seamless service delivery and strategic alignment with organizational objectives.

Prepare comprehensive operational performance and risk reports for senior leadership, concurrently spearheading automation and cost-saving measures to enhance organizational efficiency.

Lead and cultivate top-performing teams within Network, Database, Systems, and Service Desk departments by implementing performance management strategies, establishing robust succession plans, and fostering ongoing skill enhancement initiatives.
