    Job Description

    At Eni, we are looking for a supply chain coordinator within Eni Kenya in Temporarily based in Kenya, Nairobi. You will be responsible for assisting the agriculture development manager with the management of green initiatives of Eni Kenya B.V.

    As a member of the AGRIDEV department at Eni Kenya you will be responsible for:

    Planning and implementing the overall supply chain strategy for the selected feedstock
    Supporting the analysis of local agricultural contexts in the country and agricultural production to identifying business opportunities to diversify the feedstock mix for biofuel production.
    Supporting in the identification and implementation of the most appropriate intervention models for vertical integration projects in bio feedstock chains.
    Collaborating with Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams 
    Preparing reports and communicate inventory measurements to management.
    Determine key supply chain KPIs.
    Identifying process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner, suggest solutions for process improvements.
    Working with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors.
    Sourcing and engaging reliable raw material suppliers and vendors. Build and maintain long-term relationships.
    Organizing the delivery of goods and services
    General Management tasks.

    This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:

    Candidate should have degree in Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Engineering or Natural Sciences, or the relevant qualifications or any other relevant field.
    A background in supply chain management and logistics in agri-business sector, logistics, with a specific emphasis on sourcing agricultural raw materials
    experience in a similar role or field.
    Experience in agricultural and agroforestry development projects, analysis of existing supply chains and production potential of agricultural biomass also for industrial use. 
    Knowledge of agricultural and agro-forestry production systems, with reference to contract farming mechanisms and/or agro-industrial initiatives
    Candidate needs to be proficient in Ms Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    Expected results 

    A comprehensive training package (training manual, programme, and slide deck) is developed to enhance the capacity of stakeholders at the national and county levels to understand and implement the RUSH Protocol, Implementing Guideline, and Monitoring Framework and operationalize the Kenya Rural and Urban Sanitation and Hygiene RTMIS, including user registration, data entry, validation, certification, and analysis.
    A dissemination version of the RUSH Protocol, Implementing Guideline, and Monitoring Framework has been developed, summarizing key components of these documents for dissemination and use during training and fieldwork.
    A national-level training for ToT is organized with MoH and UNICEF for a maximum of 100 master trainers, who will be responsible for training users of the protocol and system at the county and sub-county levels.

    Minimum Qualifications required

    University degree in one or more of the disciplines relevant to the following areas: development studies, WASH or sanitation and hygiene, public health, behavior change communication, or economics and social sciences.

    Knowledge/Expertise/Skills required

    Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in WASH.
    At least 3 previous experiences in capacity building, research, review and/or development of WASH programmes.
    Familiar with the current developments, research, and best practices in development of environmental sanitation and hygiene strategy.
    A good understanding of global and national monitoring frameworks for WASH, including both urban and rural sanitation, on-site and off-site sanitation, communities, and institutions, is a must.
    Good knowledge of the WASH sector and of the political governance structure in Kenya is required.
    Experience working with/in UNICEF, the UN or other international development organizations is an asset.
    Demonstrated technical report writing skills.
    Fluency in written and oral English.
    Excellent communication and facilitation skills, especially in facilitating workshops.

    SCOPE OF WORK

    The scope of services will include testing transactions and verifying the existence, ownership, and valuation of assets and liabilities as necessary. The auditor must plan and conduct the audit to provide reasonable assurance that the financial statements are free from material misstatements. This involves understanding Solidaridad’s (global and regional) accounting and internal control systems to evaluate their adequacy in preparing financial statements and maintaining accurate accounting records. The auditor must gather sufficient evidence to draw reasonable conclusions. The audit will involve examining evidence on a test basis, assessing the accounting principles and significant estimates made by management, and evaluating the overall presentation of the financial statements. The audit must be conducted between 01 February 2025 and 31 March 2025.

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION

    The audit firm must meet the following criteria:

    Be registered and licensed by a recognised national authority.
    Have substantial experience in accounting and auditing development projects, especially donor-funded initiatives.
    Possess relevant experience working with NGOs and project-based operations.

    The key audit team must include the following:

    An audit manager with at least 8 years of auditing experience.
    Strong knowledge of donor-funded projects.
    Membership in a recognised professional accountancy body.

    EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)

    Interested firms should submit the following:

    An expression of interest in providing the outlined services (max. 20 pages, excluding CVs and references, which can be provided as an annexe​​).

    Your Role

    We are looking for two dynamic and creative Marketing and Communications Interns:
    Storyteller and Content Creator. In this role, the incumbents will assist the organization’s efforts to tell compelling stories, such as the experiences of our Fellows and partners in Kisumu and Machakos.
    They will focus on developing brand storytelling across the written form, photos, videos, and audio. This role requires a journalistic approach, with the ability to identify potentially impactful stories and develop them into clear narratives that resonate with set audiences and partners.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO

    Play a key role in developing storytelling and content production strategies and approaches.

    IDEAL EXPERIENCE
