    Responsibilities for the Disbursement Clerk Job
    Under the overall administrative supervision of the Director General, RDGE and daily supervision of the Country Program Officer and the Disbursement Assistant, the Team Assistant Disbursement Clerk will be responsible for the following tasks:
    Receive all disbursements requests submitted to RDGE and conduct preliminary review of applications to ensure completeness and highlight findings to the Disbursement Assistant;
    Scan and send disbursements applications for linking and scan and send contract documents for filing;
    Send all routine correspondence to PIUs including the monthly disbursement reports;
    Maintain at all times proper filing of all disbursement documents and managing disbursement documents in the archive’s as well as date records and reports related to disbursement;
    Assist to respond to questions from Task Team leaders and borrowers on disbursement related issues;
    Assist the Country Program Officer in compiling, collating and analyzing data on disbursements as well as in attending meetings with stakeholders and compiling minutes thereof.
    Draft clear and concise correspondent to borrowers on disbursement related issues for review by the Country Program Officer;
    Assist the Disbursement Assistant in verification of justifications to the special account;
    Assist in designing materials for disbursement trainings as per the specific training need of the PIU/PIT;
    Undertaking any other ad hoc functions of disbursement transaction processing or similar nature, as may be assigned
    Qualifications for the Disbursement Clerk Job
    At least a Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance combined with professional qualification of at least CPA Level 2
    A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience preferably in a large organization.
    Good understanding of basic general accounting concepts and principles, and their application
    Ability to plan and coordinate schedules in order to meet tight deadlines in a timely manner
    Good understanding of internal control concepts and business aptitude for figures and attention to detail
    Ability to work effectively in a team and function as an effective team member
    Ability to adopt to new policies, systems and processes in a timely manner

    Duties and Responsibilities
    Provide Technical Support To The Country And Regional Level Strategic Planning Processes, Ensuring Plans Are Aligned With The UN Women Strategic Plan
    Provide technical support in the Strategic Note and Annual Work Plan (AWP) development processes in the region;
    Ensure linkage of AWPs and corresponding Monitoring, Evaluation and Research (MER) Plans with the UN Women Strategic Plan;
    Review and provide feedback to Development Results Frameworks (DRF) and Management Results Frameworks (MRF) at country / regional level.
    Provide quality assurance and technical support to country offices in program management and monitoring:
    Provide quality assurance of program documents through review of results frameworks in order to meet SMART criteria;
    Provide technical support to country offices in the development of Performance Monitoring Frameworks (PMFs) and Baseline Surveys;
    Provide technical support in the development and effective implementation of monitoring systems at country level including the development of monitoring guidelines and tools;
    Synthesize and analyze monitoring data from countries on a quarterly basis, and develop regular management briefs to inform decision-making;
    Visit country offices to support monitoring of results and planning processes as required;

    Support processes of generating, codifying and dissemination of good practices, lessons and Knowledge based on monitoring and evaluation results;
    In close collaboration with the Regional Evaluation Specialist and Planning and Coordination Specialist, undertake capacity building of staff and partners in the region in the areas of Results Based Management (RBM), Monitoring and Evaluation from a gender quality and human rights perspective;
    Ensure the incorporation of lessons learnt from reviews and evaluations into Annual Work Plans and other planning processes at country / regional level;
    Disseminate feedback and lessons drawn from annual reporting processes to inform decision-making and improve quality of reporting.

    The Position
    The incumbent will be expected to independently carry out chemical analysis of feedstuffs and potentially other materials, using established and recognized (Association of Analytical Chemists) methods to determine nutritional characteristics of feeds. The analysis will include the determination of digestible energy, protein, fibre and fat.  The results will be used to establish a relational database between measured physical constituents and previously determined in vivo digestibility data. A technical report on the project findings has to be written.
    In addition, the incumbent is asked to produce establishing verifiable quality control protocols for nutritional wet chemistry techniques currently in use in Mazingira Centre.
    Key Responsibilities
