    Responsibilities

    Training and equipping the students with Automobile skills.
    Sourcing of employment and internship opportunities for students.
    Sourcing of guest lectures and organizing field visits and industry exposures for the students.
    Ensure students on internship fill their logbooks.
    Maintain an up to date record of students.
    Ensure students maintain highest levels of discipline at all times.
    Accompany students when going for interviews.
    Source for credible mentors to mentor the students.
    Participate in road shows to recruit students to the program.
    Follow up with students both on internship and placement to support them and get feedback on their progress.
    Ensure that students attend classes as required.
    Provide students with resources for studying.
    Link the youth with potential employers.

    Requirements

    At least One (1) year experience in Automobile
    Must have experience in two wheelers overhaul
    Must have passion working with young people.
    Degree/Diploma in Automotive Engineering
    Ability to meet deadlines and handle diverse tasks simultaneously using prioritization.
    Strong oral and written communication skills.

    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsible for equipment maintenance, participation in transmission and data network design, implementation, data network debugging and maintenance;
    To assist in troubleshooting, processing, and provide accurate fault information and processing
    Solve the problems in the network operation, provide network operation report and fault analysis report, to ensure the operation of the network
    Collaboration data center equipment operation and customer opening work;
    Provide technical support and training to customers
    Work with customers, project managers, sales and suppliers to ensure project implementation progress
    Writing technical solutions and project documents.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor degree or above
    3 – 5 years of communication network related work experience
    Understanding telecommunications products, services and networks
    Knowledge of transmission, IP network, network maintenance experience
    Proficiency in Huawei, Cisco and other transmission equipment
    Familiar with Ethernet protocol, OSPF, MPSL, TCP / IP, ability to conduct network design and planning
    Proficient in OSPF BGP VRRP NAT and other related technologies, familiar with the industry mainstream manufacturers Huawei, CISCO, Juniper routers, switches, firewalls and other equipment Good on-site management capabilities in the data center and line

    GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY:
    Working in the Finance Department under the direction of the Country Finance Director, the Senior Finance and Compliance Officer will assist in the accounting and documentation of all financial transactions in a timely and accurate manner.
    ESSENTIAL JOB FUCNTIONS:

    Reviewing and posting entries input in the field connection and navigator for all offices.
    Monitoring expenditures under specific budgetary lines for relevance.
    Review of the payroll and payroll allocations, posting of the payroll journal entries on time.
    Review and posting of the monthly amortizations, making enquiries on deferred payments.
    Managing the staff end of service expense allocation including following up on insurance costs and refunds through the Human Resource department.
    Monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

    Reclasses required internally and by HQ are done on a timely basis.
    Support in VAT returns process.
    Maintaining relations between Mercy Corps and the bank, Kenya Revenue Authority and the Auditors.
    Supported the Annual Financial year closure.
    Backstop plan in case of the absence of any Finance officer in Nairobi office and several other field offices.
    Constantly reinforced the adherence of Mercy Corps and donor policies to ensure they are adhered to.
    Assisting the Finance Director with program close out.
