    Duties and Responsibilities
    An officer at this level may be based at the Headquarters as the Head of Technical Division and will assist the respective Chief Officer in the day to day administration and management of the department.
    Duties and responsibilities will involve:-

    implementation of strategic plan; coordinate the setting of performance targets;
    handling technical, administrative, human resource, budgetary and assets management issues; and
    standards of the division in consultation with the Chief Officer. Other duties and responsibilities will depend on the mandate of the specific department and will entail;
    policy formulation, interpretation and implementation; negotiation, legislation and domestication of the relevant MEAs and related processes;
    conceptualization, development, implementation and monitoring of environmental and Natural Resource projects, programmes, and strategic initiatives;
    rehabilitation, restoration and conservation of river basin and other riparian ecosystems

    Additionally, an Officer at this level may be deployed as the Head of Technical Division and will assist the respective Chief Officer in the day to day administration and management of the department including:

    Liaising with county governments on environment and natural resources;

    Duties and responsibilities: –

    Be the principal assistant to the County Attorney;
    Represent or coordinate representation of the county executive in court or in any other legal proceedings to which the county executive is a party, other than criminal proceedings;

    Overseeing the operations of the legal units and shall be answerable to the County Attorney;
    Reviewing periodic reports, ensuring compliance with national, regional and international legal instruments, identifying and acting on impediments and constraints to the implementation of laws and policies;
    Facilitating the setting up of structures and institutions for consolidating the administration of the office of the county attorney Act, 2020; and
    Facilitating and coordinating financial support for development plans, facilitating the design and implementation of prioritized programs, setting long-term’s goal for the development of the office, preparing cabinet briefs, papers and memoranda and advising departments on legal policy issues.

    In addition, the County Solicitor will be responsible for supervision of the heads of divisions/legal units, the implementation and the realization of the strategic plans and objectives in respect of the legal function, coordinating and implementing work plans for the division/legal unit, preparing and implementing performance appraisal tools, preparing division/legal unit budget, managing resources, overall supervision, staff training and development and ensuring accountability and prudent management of the resources and assets and ensuring compliance to the values of good governance, human rights, transparency, accountability, ethics and integrity.
    Requirements for Appointment

    Has at least five years’ experience as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya;
    Meets the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution;
    Bachelor of Laws Degree (LL.B) from a recognized university;
    Post graduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law;
    Admission to the roll of advocates;

    Develop and implement sales strategies for SWRT technology.
    Provide advisory services to farmers and stakeholders, including customer education.
    Oversee installation of SWRT membranes.
    Achieve the set monthly (daily activity/leads/ sales prospects/contracts) target.
    Ensure timely reporting.

    Requirements & Qualifications
    An ideal candidate should have:

    University degree with experience in working with new technologies, or working with farmers, or sales or a mix.
    Experience in organizing and delivery of agricultural trainings, marketing and business linkages and delivery of field level extension activities to farmers and local community.
    Ability to establish relationship and harmony with the local community; knowledge of local languages (e.g. Kamba) is an advantage.
    Ability to create market plans for new products and deliver meaningful business results.

    Form of employment
    This a one-year temporary employment starting on December 1, 2021 with possibility of extension based on the availability of funding and satisfactory performance of the holder. The position holder will be mainly based in Makueni with regular trips in Nairobi.

    An Officer at this level will work under guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail:

    Diagnosing, caring and treating diseases;
    Performing medical and surgical procedures;
    Preparing and responding to emergencies and disasters;
    Participating in management of medicines, medical instruments and equipment;
    Providing health educational maintaining medical records, health information and data;
    Counselling patients and their relatives on diagnoses and bereavement;
    Teaching and coaching medical students, nursing students and clinical officer interns;
    Preparing requisite documents for
    Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor

    Qualifications

    Be a Kenyan
    Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) degree from an institution recognized by Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board;
    Successively Completed one (l) year internship from a recognized institution;
    Registration Certificate by the Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board;
    Certificate in Computer application skills from a recognized institution;
    Satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010
