    Summary

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as an intern in Customer Care department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment. As a Customer Care Intern, you will be an integral part of our team, assisting with various tasks and projects that contribute to the overall customer experience. 

    Roles & Responsibilities:

    Ensure all approved new clients receive contents of the welcome pack and send welcome emails within 48 hours.
    Post new and sensitive clients daily in the respective group and liaise with logistics team to ensure collection has been done.
    Call new clients after first collection to ensure it was done to their satisfaction.
    Conduct first collection surveys and share feedback to improve the onboarding experience.
    Assist to coordinate and conduct physical induction trainings for new clients.
    Countercheck that all complaints received through various channels have been logged in the tracker daily and clients contacted. 
    Post daily all open incidents that have not been resolved within prescribed timelines.
    Conduct daily audits on customer care channels and escalate any unresponded messages to inbound representative for action
    Coordinate daily departmental deliveries with rider and keep accurate data on the same and ensure proper stock management of compost, gate signs and recycling certificates.
    Ensure posted incoming leads are allocated within 3 hours and then send a subscription email to clients to manage a positive transition for the customer to the sales team.
    Assist with handling customer inquiries via phone, email, and WhatsApp.
    Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
    Escalate complex queries to the supervisor or appropriate department.
    Maintain departmental records, assist with data entry and update information as needed.
    Support the customer care team with various projects and initiatives.

    Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Sales, Business Administration, or relevant fields.

    Communications:

    Follow up on missing documentation with relevant departments.

    Compliance:

    Ensure timely filing of VAT and statutory deductions.

    Fuel Management:

    Ensure trucks and motorcycles are fueled, preparing consumption reports as needed.

    Expense Accounts Updates:

    REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

    Bea Kenyan citizen;
    Hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBCHB) degree in Medicine from a recognized institution;

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Responsible for the overall health care services delivery in the field of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Unit at the Hospital:
    Administer anesthetic or sedation during medical procedures, using local, intravenous, spinal or caudal metnoas;
    Confer with other medical professionals to determine the type and method of anesthetic or sedation to render the patient insensible to pain;
    Coordinate administration of anesthetics with surgeons during operation;
    Decide when patients have recovered or stabilized enough to be sent to another room or ward or to be sent home following outpatient surgery;
    Examine patients, obtain medical history, and use diagnostic tests to determine risk during surgical, obstetrical, and other medical procedures;
    Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia and counteract adverse reactions or complications:
    Record the type and amount of anesthesia and patient condition throughout the procedure:
    Conduct medical research to aid in controlling and curing disease, to investigate new medications, and to develop and test new medical techniques.
    Coordinate and direct the work of nurses, medical technicians, and other health care providers in the department;

    Managing anesthesiologic services, coordinating them with other medical activities and formulating plans and procedures;
    Position patients on the operating table to maximize patient comfort and surgical accessibility:
    Providing and maintaining life support and airway management and help prepare patients for emergency surgery;
    Providing medical care and consultation in many settings, prescribing medication and treatment and referring patients for surgery;
    Instructing individuals and groups on ways to preserve health and prevent disease:

    REQUIREMENTS FOR APPOINTMENT

    Be a Kenyan citizen;
    Be a holder of a Diploma in any of the following disciplines: Kenya Registered
    Community Health Nursing or Kenya Registered Midwifery:
    Higher Diploma in Critical Care Nursing from a recognized institution;
    Registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya:
    Valid Practice License as a Crifical Care Nurse:
    Must have a valid resuscitation training certificate in life saving course;
    Three (3) years relevant work experience;
    Demonstrate a thorough understanding and commitment to values and principles as outlined in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution;
    Ability to work in a multi-ethnic environment and sensitivity and respect for diversity;
    Must have good inter-personal and communication skills;
    Proficiency in computer applications; and
    Satisfy the requirement of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Ensure that the critical care centers are clean and in the right conditions to provide the conducive environment needed by patients into the critical care centers of the hospital;
    Ensure that the critical care centers have all the machinery, equipment and materials needed to provide critical care to patients admitted into the critical care centers of the hospital:
    Set up and monitor medical equipment and devices such as cardiac monitors, mechanical ventilators and alarms, oxygen delivery devices, transducers, or pressure lines, and identify malfunctioning equipment or devices, and report the same to the biomedical engineering section of the hospital;
    Receive pediatric patients in critical conditions that are referred to the critical care centers and book them in for advanced care and attention in the hospital:
    Deliver qualify nursing care in accordance with the set Nursing Standards and as per the policies and procedures of the hospital:
    Ensure the provision of quality critical care nursing services to the admitted critically ill pediatric patients, based on assessment data or identified needs in the hospital:
    Monitor patients for their progress and changes in status and indications of health conditions;
    Administer the prescribed therapeutic procedures based upon patients’ clinical status and assess patients’ pain levels or sedation requirements in the critical care centers of the hospital;
    Conduct pulmonary assessments to identify abnormal respiratory patterns or breathing sounds that indicate medical conditions of patients in the critical care centers of the hospital:
    Document patients’ medical histories and assessment findings, compile and analyze data obtained from monitoring or diagnostic tests in the critical care centers of the hospital:
    Evaluation of critical care nursing practice protocols in the critical care centers of the hospital; and
    Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.
