    Main Purpose of the Job

    Ensure that threats to personnel, assets, and business operations/activities within the area are properly identified, evaluated, and countered in a timely and cost-effective manner. Provide Oversight, coordinationand timelyadvice to management on effective security management systems within the business.

    Job Summary

    Implementproactive risk management processes in line with Business Security initiatives and liaise with Chief Security Officer for technical advice on Projects and emerging threats
    Manage operational activities and performance standards of inhouse and 3 rd Party Security contractors in adherence/compliance with agreed SLA’s.
    Responsible for coordination of immediate incident response, escalation, and immediate reporting on the Unilever Security Incident Reporting Network tool
    Support Chief Security Officer office in driving Group Security and Cluster Security Policy, Standards and procedures and periodically revise procedure in line with dynamic security threat environment.
    Periodically review and audit Security architecture as well as Internal Controls risk to ensure they are cost effective and aligned to management objectives, close on any identified gaps
    Support various investigations on detected and reported breaches of security and security incidents.
    Manage oversight of Protective intelligence through proactive information collection to avoid disruptions from violent crime or political unrest.
    In conjunction with the Chief Security Officer, implement proactive security awareness programs or processes and to protect life, corporate assets and to ensure business continuity
    Ensure Security induction and briefing of all new joiner’s international staff/visitors on in country security issues on arrival at Factory Sites and Office on the security situation in the country.
    Provide coordination and support for all high-profile visits, Events, and Functions as may be required from time to time
    Liaise with and develop relationships with various Law Enforcement, Community leaders, village elders and & Emergency Services in the event of a security incident/emergency (i.e. fire, medical, mechanical breakdown) and to ensure timely reaction to incidents
    Coordinate availability and relevant training security personnel to implement Incident response and Business contingency plans effectively
    Transact on all Security governance, enterprise resource planning and mandatory reporting systems and ensure that security transactions are closed on time.
    Implement a loss prevention programme that exhibits constant synergy between business controls and security controls so that internal loss threats are effectively mitigated.
    Ensure that the Security team has effective working tools and equipment always to maintain effective Security interventions

    Key Requirements

    Minimumten-years relevant experience within Security Management;Plantations or Corporate Security experience is an added advantage
    Minimum three years’ experience in proven ability to deploy and manage modern Security technology system solutions and management of Security Command Centre operations .
    Five years’ experience incommanding large number in-house /3P security guard personnel.
    Be a university graduate, relevant professional post graduate qualification is an added advantage.
    Sound understanding of principles in the protection of company information, including computer based and information Security measures required to achieve this
    Good judgment; analytical, emotional resilienceand problem-solving skills
    Self-driven with impeccable organizational , communication and cross functional engagement skills
    Impeccable integrity ,Sound investigations and report writing skills

    Eligibility Criteria

    Demonstrate experience as a Change Management Agent with acumen in a business or any profession of at least 7 years.
    Must NOT be suppliers or other trading associates of the Company
    Must clearly state the Category he or she is applying for.
    Must attach a letter of nomination by the Stakeholder Group or Institution to which they belong
    Attendance of Corporate Governance training is an added advantage.

    Job Summary
    BUSINESS PARTNERING
    Engage with business teams within his/her area of responsibility to communicate and scope the IT plan aligned with overall IT plan
    INNOVATION ACTIVATION

    Undertake activation activities for Global IT Innovation & Service Line activation programs as required by IT Manager
    Undertake the relevant project execution and management activities to support Local Growth Programs working with Service Lines in the delivery of these projects

    LEGACY & HERITAGE SERVICES

    Undertake the necessary activities to provide L2/3 support for L&H applications within area of responsibility
    Work with Global Innovation to provide necessary integration activities with L&H applications to support Global innovation programs
    Undertake the necessary project management and application development activities for L&H Innovation projects within scope responsibilities
    Effectively work with and manage vendors in delivery of application management of L&H Applications

    Input to review of Global services within area of responsibility and help develop action plans for these and track achievement of action plans within area of responsibility
    Contribute to implementing key actions to address service improvement areas
    Inputs to and helps define Geography demand for Services and communicates these to Service Lines
    Work with Global (HP,BT etc) & Local vendors in delivery of Global services where appropriate
    Manage the delivery of out-of-scope activities and maintenance of out-of-scope infrastructure as appropriate within scope of responsibilities
    Assist with communication and coordination of status of Urgent Incidents within the Geography and understanding impact to support resolution of these incidents
    Escalate unresolved incidents on the basis of criticality to the IT Manager
    In the case of relevant incidents impacting core business processes, work together with the functions in order to activate BCP to minimize disruption
    Participate in problem management activities within area of responsibility as required to support Service Line/Operations teams in resolving problems
    Work with business teams to ensure that the benefits of the existing services and new/updated services within area of responsibility are achieved

    IT COSTS, PROCUREMENT & CONTROLS

    Assist with processing of actual costs as required within area of responsibility and tracks and ensures payment to local vendors
    Assist with input of cost drivers to budget process including assisting in IT hardware and software requirement planning and budgeting
    Supports hardware and software asset management activities as appropriate within area of responsibility within scope of responsibility

    COMPLIANCE & DISASTER RECOVERY PLAN

    Adhere to governance & compliance framework
    Support Execution of Disaster Recovery plans as appropriate within area of responsibility
    Work with third party in Geography as appropriate

    Key Requirements

    3 years minimum relevant working experience as an IT Analyst in an FMCG environment
    Desirable experience in; Project Management, ITIL V3 Foundation or higher and Networking certification e.g. CCNA, CCNP
    Of added advantage will be relevant experience with IT systems
    Sage X3 background, working with vendors; active agile usage and experience in African markets.

    To Lead Engineering team in accordance with laid down Company policies and procedures. Partner with line managers and individuals from Unilever Tea Kenya Limited (UTKL) in providing timely and high quality delivery of engineering services/support in Electrical, mechanical, Civil, transport, Energy and projects areas and provide advice on asset procurement and replacement policies.
    Job Summary

    Day to day running of Central engineering function (mechanical/electrical/vehicle/civil). Ensure the garage & manage a time-based planned maintenance system, provide technical support on all Company buildings, tarmac roads & bridges & all load bearing structures.
    Engineering support to embedded technical resources across 8 tea processing factories embedded within 12,000 hectares for tea plantationsTake charge of engineering requirement & maintenance of utility services, installation, maintenance, inspection and repairs of all electric installations, power lines and machinery is carried out.
    Manage power generation & distribution within the Unilever grid.
    To ensure installation, maintenance, inspection and repairs of all civil infrastructure, motor vehicles, heavy plant, mechanical plant, installations and water pumps in UTKL.

    Lead the Energy committee, devise a strategy for reducing energy costs and environmental impact and coordinate its activities.
    Draw up all Contracts and ensure full achievement to the required quality standard.
    Responsible for welfare of workers in the department and reporting any known or suspected cases of sexual harassment and bribery to the code officer.
    Train & develop all engineering employee, implement the Company policies, CBA and labour laws at all times to ensure full compliance and promote good IR, welfare and safety in Engineering
    Responsible for the internal controls in all process areas within the unit e.g. payroll, cash, stores, procurement etc.
    Responsible for the implementation of WCM in Engineering and factories.

    Key Requirements

    Masters/Bachelors graduate in Mechanical, Engineering, Production Technology or Agricultural Engineering
    At least 8 years’ experience practicing as a Registered with Engineers Board of Kenya as a professional Engineer with domain in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
    Experience within Production, Process and Packaging Expertise; including Project Management and Managing a large technical team
    Experience in partnering with line managers and technical resources across to provide timely and high quality delivery of engineering services/support, professional guidance on engineering Issues by articulating and implementing policies throughout the business on (among others) safety, work/ material standards, asset replacement policies, compliance to local legislation and asset and engineering human resources management (among others) safety, work/ material standards, asset replacement policies, compliance to local legislation and asset and engineering human resources management
