    Job Purpose:

    In partnership with AMPATH (a major healthcare provider group in Western Kenya), USAID (the implementing partner), the Elton John AIDS Foundation (the funder) and various Government stakeholders, the ideal candidate in this senior position will lead the overall partnership and program to develop and deliver a differentiated care distribution solution to up to 20,000 AMPATH patients living with HIV, as well as nearly 3,000 patients seeking prevention (PrEP) support. Reporting to the VP of Operations and other project team members, the ideal candidate will be adept at managing and overseeing multiple projects. One Project Coordinator will also be reporting directly to this role.

    Role Responsibilities:

    Program Management: Manage the overall program activities, outputs, KPIs, work plan and resources, and other deliverables.
    Solution Design & Development: Work with various departments of Kasha to design and support the development of the technical solution to deliver the program (e.g. process flows across the patient lifecycle, business requirements, data flows, etc.).
    AMPATH Delivery Integration: Work closely with AMPATH stakeholders to integrate the Kasha solution into AMPATH systems, processes, policies, and resources.
    Delivery, Performance & Risk Management: Oversee the performance of the solution, KPIs, targets, and milestones; seek continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency; identify risks and issues early and escalate regularly.
    Partner Coordination: Develop and manage the work plan to maintain alignment of activities across AMPATH, Pendulum, and other partners involved in the delivery of the solution.
    Governance & Stakeholder Management: Provide input and reports to the Steering Committee and support coordination/facilitation thereof; engage a wide range of stakeholders to represent the project and gain alignment of key and relevant stakeholders (e.g., updates to various USAID stakeholders, engagement with NASCOP, etc.).
    Data & Reporting: Provide daily regular reports to AMPATH and the Elton John AIDS Foundation (EJAF) on solution performance and program progress; Work with Kasha’s data team to develop dashboards and reporting tools to automate and regularly provide updates to stakeholders, including ad-hoc analyses.
    Technical Leadership: Work across Kasha teams to continue to innovate and test different approaches to optimize the solution for the best possible outcomes; leverage internal and external experts however necessary to provide overall technical leadership to the program, teams and stakeholders.

    Role Requirements:

    A bachelor’s degree in public health or related field. A master’s degree will be an advantage.
    7 years of health program management and related experience directly with government institutions and international health-affiliated NGOs.
    Expertise in the development of supply chain and route-to-market solutions; proven track record in delivering results.
    Strong stakeholder management skills and proven experience with managing stakeholders from across sectors.
    Experience in global health and an understanding of differentiated care for HIV and Prevention.
    Excellent data and reporting capabilities.
    Experience in working with US funding agencies on USD Million+ grants
    Proficiency in financial reporting, Excel, and powerpoint

    Duties and Responsibilities
    The Chief Finance Officer shall be responsible for:-

    Have a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (K), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and be a member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants and in good standing;
    Have at least ten (10) years of experience four (4) of which should have been served as Chief Accountant or Deputy Chief Finance Officer or its equivalent in a university setting or public institution;
    Have demonstrated outstanding qualities of leadership, and coordination and organizational capabilities at top management level;
    Must comply with the requirements of Chapter Six of The Constitution of Kenya, 2010, by attaching to the application relevant certificates from the following bodies;

    Higher Education Loans Board;
    National Police Service (Certificate of Good Conduct);
    Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission; and
