    About The RoleKey responsibilities for the role include:

    Managing our students’ wellness and development and offering them psycho-social support as needed.
    Maintaining close liaison with the Medical staff at the nearest Private Hospital consistently
    Handle confidential situations, information, and documentation.
    Maintain an updated record of all medication in the infirmary and tracking student medical history.
    Develop a robust reporting system within the infirmary and communicate with the procurement team in a timely manner.
    Communicate effectively at all levels with students, staff, parents and other clinicians and paramedics.
    Inspecting boarding house facilities (toilets and bathrooms, laundry area) when pupils are away from the facilities and appraise the level of hygiene and cleanliness.
    Monitoring standards achieved by cleaners and other support agencies within the Boarding House and report on any deficiencies to the Director, Operations.

    A professional, flexible and conscientious registered nurse with the ability to build a harmonious, energetic and cohesive relationship with students and co-workers.
    Professional counseling skills with a proven track record will be an advantage.
    You have 3-4 years’ experience as a registered nurse.
    You have a Diploma or Degree in Nursing with great people skills.
    You are willing to reside on the school campus under the school’s housing scheme.

    Job Details

    MBA (Accounting/Finance option) or its equivalent from a recognized institution
    CPA(K) or its equivalent
    At least five (5) years working experience as Internal Audit, three (3) of which must have been as senior management position
    ICPAK Membership or its equivalent
    Computerized Information Systems Audit (CISA)

    Responsibilities

    Coordinate preparation, approval by the Audit Committee and implementation of annual audit plans.
    Ensure proper interpretation of financial policies for sound auditing practices and control.
    Responsible for coordination of Audit department’s activities, including staff training and development.
    Liaising with external auditors and ensure implementation of their recommendations.
    Developing and updating the Board Internal Audit & Compliance Committee Charter as well as the internal Audit Charter and ensure they are duly approved

    Other Operational Responsibilities

    Carry out special assignments including investigations and recommend controls to mitigate risks.
    Designing and coordinating the execution of an annual audit plan in compliance with conventional audit guidelines and best practices.
    Maintain Audit working files to ensure working papers are complete and available audit evidence fully supports audit opinions and recommendations.
    Receive and review external auditor’s reports and management responses thereto including the actions taken to address material issues raised.
    Review the University’s operations on various compliance with the relevant statutes, policies, rules, regulations, administrative government circulars and guidelines.
    Ensure proper preparation of audit reports, presentation of the same to the Audit & Compliance Committee on quarterly basis and implementation of audit recommendations.

    Reporting to the Deputy Manager Research Network, the successful candidate will work in collaboration with project Coordinators to perform duties which include but not limited to the following:
    Responsibilities

    Write high quality grant proposal narratives, and supporting documents
    Counsel, direct, and assist faculty and staff in matters related to preparation, submission, and acceptance of high competitive research funding application to major global health research sponsors including, but not limited to, NIH, CDC, HRSA, and USAID
    Serve as primary liaison with key sponsor program officials in the development of competitive research funding applications
    Investigate and answer questions about funding application requirements to ensure development of successful funding applications.
    Counsel researchers and staff on the preparation of competitive funding applications including the management of multidisciplinary writing teams, involving key personnel from multiple institutions around the globe.
    Development of consortia agreements, budget materials, and letters of support and institutional information to ensure compliance with university policies, federal regulations and agency guidelines.
    Assist faculty and staff in identifying documents or forms needed in connection with pending or funded projects and ensure all funding application requirements are met.
    Ascertain the status of proposals, awards, research risk approvals, internal approvals such as route sheets, and related documents. Follow up on all correspondence to ensure that appropriate action is taken or information provided.
    Develop new concept proposals and data requests and process results of analyses into formats for presentation and dissemination.
    Advise faculty plans and strategies and overseas the successful implementation of global health research dissemination plans.
