    Job Description
    The incumbent shall be responsible for:

    Main duties and responsibilities:

    Support audits for HEP clients and maintain a consistent schedule as per the contractual terms of service.
    Coordinate food safety audits and trainings in the hospitality/hotel industry and also technical factory evaluations for food suppliers.
    To ensure label reviews are done as per SGS guidelines and in accordance to national/ international regulations/ client requirements.
    Ensure regular and timely updates are made to the client on progress of each job and make sure reporting KPIs and client requirements are met.
    Supervise all functions related to food Audits, hygiene monitoring sampling through swabbing, food and water sampling and testing; upon request from the client; and verifying that all information provided for the job execution is complete to allow job execution without problems.
    Train food auditors on SGS customized food audits
    Review reports to ensure they are accurate and according to the standard SGS reporting specifications.
    Manage food clients, reports and standards database and ensure its update.
    Support the sales and marketing team in preparing technical proposals and in sales activities to develop new business in the sector and to maximize division profitability.
    Offer technical advice to clients, line manager and SGS Food Audit requirements and ensuring reporting is done against agreed specifications and national/ international standards/ regulations.
    Support finance in debt collection to keep day sales outstanding at a minimum.
    To ensure that subordinates under your control are adequately trained and competent to carry out day to day activities in a professional manner in line with SGS code of ethics and integrity.
    To ensure that SGS guidelines/ SOPs, ‘SGS Rules For Life’ and client’s requirements and specific needs are expeditiously addressed and adhered to, and that professionalism and high standards are consistently maintained during job execution and reporting.
    Ensure compliance to health, safety and environment procedures and policies for SGS and client.
    At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct.
    Carry out any other assignment as may be advised from time to time.

    Qualifications

    University degree in a Food related/ Science Course or equivalent educational background.
    Two years’ experience in Management or supervision role.
    Have good knowledge, skills and experience in the food industry including national and international standards/ regulations.
    Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP and Food Safety Principles.
    Must have successfully completed a recognized HACCP/ISO 22000 or Food Hygiene Training Course.
    Must have successfully completed an approved lead auditor training course.
    Mastery in inspection/ audit processes and ability to coordinate several inspections/ audit activities simultaneously.
    Ability to Maintains contact with industry to maintain technical and operational competitiveness in the marketplace.
    Proficient in Microsoft suite (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Outlook) and Operations Information Management Systems

    Job Description

    Ensure that the results and test data produced is accurate, reliable and within acceptable repeatability/reproducibility. Maintain repeatability/reproducibility values for major tests carried out.
    Ensuring that health, safety and environment requirement are adhered to and implemented through frequent trainings to lab personnel, monitoring of the OIMS and section QHSE systems to determine where improvements can be made, and necessary corrective and preventive actions carried out.
    Ensures equipment is maintained and calibrated, reporting all deficiencies (equipment malfunctions) in an appropriate manner. Keep and update regular maintenance log for all equipment under their control

    Qualifications

    At least a Degree in Chemistry, Petrochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Laboratory Quality Assurance or equivalent qualification from recognized institution.
    At least three 3-5 years laboratory testing experience preferably in a multi-purpose laboratory.
    Good knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, ISO/IEC 17020:2012, ISO 9001:2015, GLP and HSE standards.
    Working knowledge of laboratory instruments such as Auto distiller, FAME tester, Flash/Pour point tester, sulphur in oil analyzer (XRF), Densitometer etc.
    Have sound knowledge of laboratory work particularly instrumental methods used in petrochemical analysis and has satisfied the management for his/her capability in application of the relevant testing protocol.
    Work with minimum supervision.
    Experience of supervision of a team.
    Satisfactory capability in application of the relevant testing protocol.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Implementing quality assurance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)and procedures

    Reviewing data collection and entry processes to identify areas for improvement. Under the guidance instruction of the Data QA/QC Officer, working with Carbon Ops department project managers and technical officers and the Data & Analytics teams to establish quality requirements for data at various stages of collection, processing, and storage.
    Verifying that documentation (like data entry protocols, data processing procedures) adheres to carbon registry guidelines and methodologies and BURN SOPs on integrity and reporting guidelines. Under the guidance of the Data QA/QC officer, the Data QA/QC Assistant Officer shall conduct regular audits of data and documentation to ensure compliance with the aforementioned standards.
    Identifying discrepancies, inconsistencies, or errors in data and documentation, and initiating corrective actions for all data collated from field data collection exercises (i.e., Baseline & Monitoring Surveys, Kitchen Performance Tests and Controlled Cooking Tests).
    Maintaining and managing logs of quality checks, issues identified, and actions taken. Specifically, managing updates to the lessons learned log, the validation, verification, design review and performance review trackers.
    Develop SOPs and checklists for maintaining the highest quality of output from data and carbon operations-related activities.
    Review and audit raw surveys, analytical data, and documentation necessary to complete carbon projects in time both quantitatively and qualitatively.
    Ensure data and documentation comply with laid down SOPs and methodologies.
    Collaborate and liaise closely and regularly with the relevant team members across the critical departments including but not limited to data analytics, customer experience, and commercial.
    Manage routine corrections of erroneous outputs.
    Automate manual quality checks for efficiency within the carbon department.

    Qualifications & Experience

    Proven track record of developing and implementing quality assurance processes, systems, and teams.
