Job Purpose
Purpose of this position is to:
Establish business operations; register and launch new products in Kenya market.
Develop relationships with stakeholders including MOH, government agencies and customers
Responsibilities & Deliverables
Evaluate markets for potential business opportunities for Shalina products.
Execute all aspects of sales and marketing activities, such as brand management, pricing, communications & marketing promotion
Coordinate with central S&M and supply chain for meeting the forecast accuracy targets.
Apply the knowledge about government policies, regulatory procedures, documentation requirements and fee structures for getting the registrations on time. Liaise with India regulatory team and central S&M team.
Build and leverage relationship with MOH and various government bodies for smooth registration of products.
Build customer contact base to win tenders from various KOLs such as Kemsa, Defense, Kenya Port authority, MSD and teaching hospitals.
Appoint importers to develop business; establish depots and warehouses as required to support the business growth.
Manage and control all activities and processes related to logistics, container imports, customs clearance and internal freight etc.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualification: Graduate – B Pharm. / B. Sc. (Lifesciences) with MBA in Marketing/ General Management.
Experience: 12 – 14 years in Pharma with 4 years of experience in East Africa. Should have got hands on experience in product registrations and dealing with MOH. Experience in handling CVD / Derma / Antibiotics/ Gastro/ Gyna/ Pain/ Respiratory products.
Language Skills: Fluent in English. Swahili is preferred.
Travel Requirements: Extensive travel required between target countries.
Competencies: Extensive knowledge of Kenya pharma regulatory systems/ good network of Sr level officers in MOH of East African countries/ Influencing skills/ Perseverant/ Go getter attitude

Job Purpose: Preparation of proforma invoices / quotations and co-ordination of export document processing

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and send all quotations/proforma by deadline date for consideration.
Prepare a daily quotations report and monthly quotations summary for decision making.
Provide operational seamless linkages between the quotation desk, order processing, stock control, purchasing and credit control sections to ensure customer satisfaction.
Participate in converting the quotations into orders, for increased business growth.

Market Lead, Kenya/Export markets
POSITION SUMMARY
Operational responsibility for the assigned PEH geography, for P&L and to maximize revenue and profit contribution in alignment with overall NEAR strategic and operating plans.
To lead the NEAR Pfizer Essential Healthcare Business Unit in Kenya and export markets (Ghana, Mauritius, Angola, Zimbabwe, Zambia & Mozambique)
Leadership and management of sales management teams (including third party) and other direct reports in accordance with Pfizer policy and values.
Coordination of enabling and platform function required to support Kenya and all export marketsand assigned geography objectives
To drive performance of the PEH portfolio across the markets and represent the interest of the PEH Kenya & Export markets at the NEAR market leadership level
Conducts all activities and makes decisions that are in accordance with Company policies and SOPs, Pfizer Values, anti corruption principles (MAPP) and global regulatory guidelines (including cGMP/cGLP/cGCP), environment guidelines, as appropriate.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Market Lead Responsibilities
Ensure appropriate face-of Pfizer representation at market level within Kenya & Export Market cluster for country healthcare environment issues management, market access negotiation for portfolio as a whole and representative of Pfizer.
Pricing for specific products is the responsibility of the BU Lead, but the Market lead represents Pfizer for negotiations that span the portfolio when there are cross-BU implications, subject to agreement and sign of by the NEAR CM.
Define go-to-market model and partners for markets within Kenya and export cluster and own primary relationship with such partners
Pfizer value proposition to government, large institutions and payers
Legal and fiduciary responsibilities where not required by the CM, compliance management and relationship with pharma association
Represent the cluster in the NEAR Management Forum
Identify and represent the service level needs of the country to the enabling functions.
Identify priorities with the platform functions.
Ensure all business are served effectively by the shared functions, and coordinate key field force agreements, where required
