    Key responsibilities:
    Programme Operations

    Maintain record of training of MMK drivers and riders in liaison with the Learning and Development Officer.
    Follow up on driving staff adherence after training on key processes and procedures.
    Track expiry of insurance covers and driving licenses and follow up on renewals.
    Support in issuance of vehicle keys, ID tags, and fuel cards and keeping updated records.
    Inspect MMK vehicle cleanliness before and after journeys and prepare reports.
    Maintain and update all fuel and maintenance transaction documents.
    Fill out insurance claim forms and follow-up on claims reporting.
    Analyze fuel transactions and repairs at least monthly.
    Coordinate requests for vehicle maintenance and preparation of job cards.
    Help in vehicle assignments/allocation to facilitate movement plans.
    Maintain database of contracts for all service providers in transport and related operation functions.
    Assist drivers in completing DVIRs.
    Liaise and coordinate with other departments on their transportation needs.
    Organize transportation for visitors, including transport to and from the airport, MM Offices, schools, etc.
    Track & schedule routine maintenance for vehicles per manufacturer guidelines.
    Support the inspection of vehicles post-service to ensure they have been serviced according to manufacturer’s recommendations.
    Inspect MMK vehicles to confirm that required documents e.g., insurance, COF, etc. are displayed appropriately and are retrievable.
    Assist in measuring the performance of various service providers. supervisor.
    Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

    Fleet Management and Compliance

    Learn, understand and apply MMI Fleet Manual, SOPs, and local driving laws in supporting compliance.
    Learn, understand and utilize FMS & GEOTAB software in supporting fleet operations.
    Utilize FMS reminders to share and schedule routine activities (e.g., vehicle service).
    Timely enter accurate data into the FMS as required by the Fleet Manual.
    Support in preparation of monthly reports and variance analysis on vehicle usage and fuel consumption.

    Warehouse Management and Compliance

    Help in maintaining a clean, orderly and safe warehouse in line with MMK policies and procedures.
    Maintain detailed and accurate records of receipt, storage and timely dispatch of stocks to schools.
    Support in coordinating hired casual labour to carry out warehouse operations and review of invoices.
    Assist in monthly physical counts, reconciling of variances and updating of records.
    Support in receiving and dispatching of stocks based on approved plans and in compliance with SOPs.
    Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver coherent warehouse operations.

    Other:

    Any other responsibility as assigned from time to time.

    Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics Management or Commerce, Business Management or Administration with an International Diploma in Logistics and Transport.
    A citizen of Kenya.
    A recent Graduate having graduated no earlier than 2021 from a recognized University.
    Strong commitment to Mary’s Meals vision, mission, and values.
    Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel & Word
    Strong communication skills and cultural sensitivity with an ability to work well with a wide range of people.

    KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

    Conduct due diligence, and process all fraud tickets from Freshdesk with complete accuracy.
    Document and track all fraud tickets on fraud SharePoint list correct data and maintain a high standard of data quality, controls, and comprehensiveness regarding all recorded data.
    Conduct recorded investigations over the phone by interrogating suspects and the claimant to determine the legitimacy of the fraud allegations.
    Send daily reports on daily ticket resolution and audit.

    Certification in a fraud-related discipline, such as Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).

    The main focus areas of the internship are:

    Conduct desk-research on studies and evaluations related to the sustainable blue economy in Kenya, as well as other similar contexts.
    Identify potential local partners (civil society and private sector) active and/or with interest in relevant blue economy value chains, and – in collaboration with the Head of Programme – plan, hold and document scoping meetings.
    Conduct a mapping of key actors (donors, UN bodies, academia, private sector) involved in the blue economy in Kenya and their strategic priorities.
    Compile a synopsis of research conducted, along with synthesised recommendations/actions/next steps for discussion by the HoP with the Senior Leadership Team and relevant HQ technical and fundraising focal points.
    Support the HoP and other relevant staff to draft one or more concept notes. 

    The key anticipated outputs of the internship are:

    Detailed report – with concise summary – of findings/learning from relevant studies conducted; past and ongoing relevant initiatives and actions in Kenya; findings/learning from studies/research/initiatives in similar contexts; relevant actors and their strategic priorities.
    Mapping of relevant local civil society and private sector actors, with actions/recommendations.
    One or more concept notes for initiatives that DCA could support and/or jointly fundraise for. 

     Required Qualifications:

    Good academic qualifications, including a Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant discipline (Natural Sciences, Political Sciences, Social Research, Economics, Anthropology, Natural Resource Management, Monitoring & Evaluation or similar).

    How can you make a difference? 
    Nutrition knowledge and information management is a key priority in the 2022-2026 Kenya country program geared towards ensuring timely, quality evidence to inform the situation of children, women, and adolescents, program performance, and adjustment based on lessons learned. To achieve this, the UNICEF Kenya country office is seeking the support of an intern to assist the nutrition section team in making the best use of available data and knowledge. The intern will support the nutrition section to identify, organize, and disseminate quality and effective products for varied target audiences including donors, government, and other stakeholders.  
    Under the direct supervision of the Nutrition Specialist, the Intern shall perform the following duties:

    Arrange and consolidate information and data from the project staff and relevant national stakeholders for use in communications materials with a particular focus on Nutrition Emergency data.
    Use graphic design skills to design project publications, fact sheets, and leaflets and prepare layouts for documents, reports, and communication materials developed through projects
    Deliver creative non-technical nutrition-related communication materials.
    Contribute to updating reporting schedules, preparing reporting templates, proofreading, and formatting reports.

    To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
