    Job Responsibilities:

    Conceptualizing art for print and designing graphics to post on the company’s social media platforms
    Generate high-quality graphics and computer animations using the latest software; Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign.
    Listing the company on social media and ensuring activities in different social media platforms- Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google Plus, YouTube, etc.
    Assist in writing informative and effective search engine optimized –SEO copy for the website and external blog postings
    Carrying out online brand awareness and reputation
    Content management and generation of inbound traffic
    Cultivation of leads and sales
    Assist in managing the company’s Social Media accounts
    Keeping up to date with changes and advances in social media and advising on new channels and approaches to adopt
    Being on the lookout for different premiums on social media platforms the company can subscribe to
    Monitoring social media for company mentions and engaging with customers where relevant
    Developing digital marketing campaigns
    Write and optimize content for the website and social networking accounts
    Edit and post photos, videos, podcasts, and audio content to online sites
    Perform other duties as assigned from time to time
    Additionally, video editing skills are also an added advantage. Final cut, adobe premiere pro, After effects.

    Key Requirements:

    A bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Marketing/ Communication/ Media/ PR or Information Technology
    Graphics design and social media marketing training
    Social media etiquette
    An analytical and proactive approach to online marketing
    Creative with excellent communication skills
    Writing skills with a lot of interest in social media
    Up to date with different social media marketing platforms
    Self-disciplined with good customer service skills
    A knack for modern technology
    Professionalism and a positive attitude

    Scope of Assignments
    Support the Urban Planning, Housing, Development, Lands, Infrastructure & Energy Committee in monitoring best practices and emerging trends and technologies with respect to Urban Planning.
    The specific duties and responsibilities will include:

    Assist in the day to day activities of the Urban Planning, Housing, Development, Lands, Infrastructure & Energy Committee at the Council;
    Analysis, review and monitoring of all policies and legislation at national and county levels relating to the Urban Development Committee, Planning and Lands Committee;
    Conduct research work, analysis of documents and preparation of position papers, policy briefs, success stories in the Urban Planning, Housing, Development, Lands, Infrastructure & Energy Committee;
    Analysis of how various functions are to be performed by both levels of government to support Urban Development and to;
    Assist in coordination and harmonization of CoG positions and priorities on Land administration and management matters;
    Representing the Council of Governors externally at events and with external stakeholders;
    Serve as point of contact for day-to-day management issues of Land administration and management within the Council of Governors;
    Assist in handling and monitoring all matters relating to the management and sustainability of urban areas and cities within Counties;
    Assist to gather information on matters related to land survey and mapping;
    Supporting in seeking for transparent, sustainable, and accountable solutions for subdividing and transferring of land;
    Assist in coordinating and gathering details of conference timelines and ensuring that deadlines are met;
    Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Supervision
    The Assignments will be task managed by the Council of Governors Committee supervised by and reporting to the Program Assistant – Urban Planning, Housing, Development, Lands, Infrastructure & Energy Committee.
    Duration of the assignment
    The internship duration is for a period of six (6) months.
    Required Qualifications

    Have a Bachelor Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from a recognized Institution;
    Certificate in Computer applications.
    Experienced in undertaking comprehensive research;
    Outstanding Interpersonal, analytical and communication skills;
    Ability to follow deadlines, accuracy and attention to detail;
    A high level of computer literacy and proficient in written and spoken English and Kiswahili; and
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Undertaking Real Estate market research for site identification, site acquisition and business case preparation.
    Responsible for performing all aspects of the Site Acquisition process from site identification and qualification through to the completion of zoning approvals for multiple sites.
    Data collection and analysis on sales trends and consumer demographics, preferences, needs and buying habits in the real estate industry.
    Real Estate financial modeling and data analysis.
    Assisting with conducting research using comparable properties sold in an area and investigating potential issues that affect value such as the title of the property by ensuring an up to date database of all property comparables as provided by the real estate team.
    Consulting and coordinating with agents in gathering property photos, staging, repairs, cleaning, signage, access requirements & marketing activities including property listings, assisting prospective clients, accompany clients to property site, discuss conditions of sale, and drawing up real estate contracts.
    Promoting sales of properties through advertisements and participation in listing services, either directly or via agents.
    Coordinating the preparation and assembly of documents for presentations and meetings.
    Communicating between multiple departments and coordinating internal and external meetings.
    Tracking and reporting on various initiatives at the direction of the Research and Deal Origination team.
    Other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring efficiency and effective functioning of the Research and Deal Origination team.

    REQUIREMENTS

    KCSE B+ or equivalent.
    Bachelor’s degree, minimum of Second Class, Upper division.
    Strong communication skills (both written and oral).
    Strong organizational and time management skills -ability to adhere to deadlines.
    Innovative and solution oriented individuals.
    Ability to cope under pressure and work within a fast pace environment.
